Projector adjustment and driver installation Troubleshooting projector focus and alignment Once the projector is powered on and warmed up, a PolyVision splash screen appears automatically on the ēno interactive whiteboard. The following steps describe how to adjust the focus and position of the splash screen if necessary. For best image quality, it is recommended that digital projector settings not be altered unless mechanical adjustments below fail to provide acceptable image placement and clarity. See projector user manual for digital image adjustment details. NOTE: Projector should be level, square to the interactive whiteboard surface, and set to Fill Mode (the default setting) prior to attempting the following adjustments. By design, ēno 2810 will not fully fill across the width of the board. There will be a vertical margin measuring approximately 2.5 (63 mm) to either side of the projected image. HINT: Hold a piece of white paper at the projected image border, slightly overlapping with the image to better define image boundary. A ¼ (6 mm) overlap of projected image on to projection surface trim often yields a favorable image fit. Focus To adjust the splash screen focus: 1. Use the manual focus adjustment found on the front of the projector (should not be required for most installations). Image size To adjust the splash screen size: 1. Loosen the three M4 screws in the top of the projector 2. Slide the projector away from the board to make the image larger; slide the projector toward the board to make the image smaller. PolyVision 27

In some cases, it may be necessary to slide the whiteboard to one side and re-install the #8 x 1/2 screws. To adjust the splash screen location from left to right: 1. Loosen the 5/16 screws at the projector bracket using the Allen wrench. 2. Slide the projector and projector bracket left or right to move the image. (or move the whiteboard left or right to follow the image). 3. Tighten the two 5/16 screws. 28 Installation and Operation Guide

Image tilt To adjust the tilt angle of the splash screen: 1. Adjust the jack screws on top of the projector mount. Tighten or loosen one jack screw at a time for best results. Image squareness (up and down) To adjust the splash screen squareness: 1. Adjust the thumbwheels on top of the projector bracket at the same time in the same direction. Turn both thumbwheels counterclockwise to make the bottom of the image narrower and the top of the image wider. Turn both thumbwheels clockwise to make the bottom of the image wider and the top of the image narrower. PolyVision 29

2. If one side of the image is taller than the other, loosen all three 4mm thumb screws on the projector bracket, turn the pivot handle counterclockwise to make the left side taller, turn the handle clockwise to make the left side shorter. Tighten all 4mm thumb screws. Image location (up and down) To adjust the splash screen location up and down: 1. Turn the large thumbwheel counterclockwise to move the image up. 2.
