Pty Ltd (All Radio Frequency Communication) is a privately owned Australian company which specialises in; Supply of broadcast RF transmission equipment Broadcast transmission system design Broadcast transmission consulting services Installation Commissioning Maintenance After sales support The company was started in 1990 on a part time basis to assist in the setting up of Community radio stations in Australia but the request for both consulting and equipment supply led to the company becoming full time in 1994. Since then the company has continued to grow and specialises in both consulting and the supply of RF transmission equipment to the commercial, government and community markets within Australia, the Pacific and Asia.

We believe that all our customers, be they from a small or large company, deserve the best service and solutions to complex engineering and technical applications. Pty Ltd recognises this fundamental requirement and provides not only a full consulting service, high performance and highly reliable equipment, but also a full back up service with engineering advice and spare parts.

Advertising Apart from advertising in industry publications throughout Australia, Pacific and the Asian regions, we also publish our own newsletter which currently goes to some 1300 companies within Australia, Asia, Pacific Islands and other regional areas. This quarterly publication keeps the companies up to date with new products and changes in the broadcast market that may affect them. Advertising aside, much of our new business is by word of mouth recommendation from clients and with many clients placing repeat business with us, we are continuing our growth as a reputable and reliable consultant and equipment supplier. From our small beginnings in 1990, we have grown such that with our expanding staff and a range of new and improved products we are able to continue to serve our client s ever changing needs. Marketing A.R.F.C. Pty Ltd is also looking to expand our product base with innovative and application ready products. To this end, new products are being added which focus on the IP and Telecommunication broadband TV sectors, the computer market and general retail application which have resulted in alternative marketing strategies to ensure product awareness. Marketing our products and services requires that various forms of media are used to promote awareness in the various markets. Internet, CD ROM, newsletters, specific products brochures, personal contact and demonstrations are the prime marketing tools used to allow our clients to evaluate our products and technology.

Company Services Along with the sale of RF transmission equipment, the company has the knowledge and capability to provide turn-key solutions for complete broadcasting and communication stations in the AM, FM, TV (VHF and UHF) and microwave disciplines. Using information provided by the client, our comprehensive data base, and state-of-theart computer software, we are able to tailor broadcast systems to the customer s specifications. We carry out feasibility studies and specialised systems design to ensure the best and most cost effective broadcast services attainable. A.R.F.C. Pty Ltd provide full after sales engineering support and maintenance on all equipment that we ve provided as well as doing repairs on other equipment submitted by our clients. Through continual contact with our suppliers, including training courses on new equipment, ensures that we maintain a good working relationship and have the most up to date information on new and improved products that they have available. These exchanges also allow our suppliers to gain first hand feed back from A.R.F.C. Pty Ltd staff on client s comments and any suggestions we may have on product improvement, application and problems. A.R.F.C. Pty Ltd has a fully equipment workshop with facilities to service the equipment and products sold. The workshop is accredited as a service centre for ABE and RVR products as well as for other vendor products.

Long Term Goals Our long term goal is to continue to provide high quality RF transmission equipment and service to the Broadcast and Communication industries, to expand our role in the consulting area to the industry and to ensure that we keep up with technology so that our clients receive the most up to date equipment, services and advice. With technology moving so fast and converging between traditional broadcasting and other forms of communications, A.R.F.C. Pty Ltd believes that it must keep up with the new technologies, systems, techniques and equipment to meet these current and long term goals, if the clients requirements are to be realised in the transmission and interface area. To this end A.R.F.C. Pty Ltd staff attend conferences, trade shows, vendor training courses and utilise a range of written and visual resources to assist with keeping up with the ever changing technology world.

Personnel GORDEN SMITH, Company Director Gorden has a degree in Electronic Engineering from Canterbury University in New Zealand and has over forty years of experience in the industry. His knowledge covers transmission system design, tendering, site layout, planning, installation, commissioning of equipment and project management. This experience was gained whilst working for such companies as the New Zealand Broadcasting Corporation (Engineering Division), TBC Pty Ltd and Stanilite Electronics in Australia, and LARCAN Communications in Canada. PETER JAMIESON, Company Director Peter is a Broadcast Engineer with over thirty years experience in planning and design, installation, commissioning, maintenance and management of broadcast and other communication facilities. Much of this experience was gained whilst working with Television New Zealand and its previous identities in technical and management roles in Australia and New Zealand.

NANCY SMITH, Administration Nancy has had over thirty five years of office experience covering sales and marketing, accounts and office management from both small and large companies.
