Carlos Fernandez Senior Vice President Senior Investment Management Consultant Wealth Advisor Carlos F. Fernandez is a licensed investment professional who has been assisting his clients as a Wealth Advisor for more than 25 years all at Morgan Stanley. Carlos manages personalized investment strategies for his clients. He listens to his clients to understand individual needs and goals, develops solid long last client relationships and treats each investment as his own. Carlos is a member of Morgan Stanley s exclusive President s Club or Master s Club from 1999 to present, he has been named to The Financial Times 2015 list of America s Top 400 Financial Advisors and is a recipient of Baltimore Magazine s 2013, 2014 and 2015 Five Star Wealth Manager Award. Carlos earned a Bachelor of Science in Business from Bucknell University and is a graduate of St. Paul s School in Brooklandville, MD. He and his wife Stacey have four children: Nevi, Niqui, Lexi and Carlos. He coaches youth soccer, basketball and baseball and has led teams to several championships. Thomas E. Hipple, CIMA First Vice President Senior Investment Management Consultant Wealth Advisor Thomas E. Hipple is a licensed investment professional with more than 30 years of experience as a Wealth Advisor, mostly focused on professional money management. As a Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA), Tom concentrates on asset allocation, due diligence, risk measurement, investment policy and performance measurement for clients. Tom is a recipient of Baltimore Magazine s 2013, 2014 and 2015 Five Star Wealth Manager Award. Tom is a graduate of Kalamazoo College in Michigan where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English. He then earned an MBA in Finance from The Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. Tom enjoys art; he studied Spanish Renaissance Art at the Prado in Madrid, which houses a renowned collection of his favorite artist, El Greco. Kelly D. Alcala Portfolio Associate Lori A. Ralston Senior Registered Associate Kelly D. Alcala is a licensed professional with more than 17 years of investment experience, joining the team in 2005. In this role, she provides client service and administrative support for the group s clients, working closely with the back office departments to facilitate client service, trade transactions, account maintenance and marketing. Kelly previously worked at Legg Mason for eight years. Kelly graduated from Roanoke College in Virginia with a Bachelor degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance. She resides in Lutherville, Maryland with her husband Tony, and two children, Tony Jr., and Abby. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends and vacationing in Ocean City each summer. Lori A. Ralston is a licensed professional with more than 28 years of investment experience and joined Morgan Stanley Smith Barney in 2008. She has an allaround understanding of client goals and industry standards to help facilitate the client s growth in their relationship with the team. Lori graduated from Villa Julie College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a concentration in Political Science. She resides in Carroll County and is passionate about volunteering to help animals and find them homes.
