Within the Community Graduating Class of 2012 Exhibition The Graduating Exhibition is an important element of an art student s higher education which is a ritual followed by universities around the world. It is an opportunity for them to introduce their work to the public and hear feedback, from the community. It forces them to speak about their work beyond technical and aesthetic qualities, in a critical way as well as take criticism. It is an introduction of themselves and their work to professionals within the advertising, journalism and publication markets. Finally, it is a celebration of their years of studying and the growth they have made as artists. The Photography Department was very pleased to organize the graduating 2012 class exhibition which was titled Visual Stories. The exhibition was held at the Omani Society of Fine Arts, Photography Club, in Azaiba. The exhibition featured the students final projects within the department, as well as work from the lecturers. We look forward to the 2013 graduating class exhibition which we hope to organize next September. Event Photos By Mohammed Al Ajmi Higher College of Technology p.6
