ICAT is nowadays one of the main European firms producing adhesives for industrial use and its network of agents/distributors is wide spread all over the world. ICAT has inherited the huge experience of the Italian fine chemical industry, from which the firm derives an added value from a technological viewpoint. Apart from the continuous improvement if its quality standards and services to the customers, the achievements of ICAT are essentially based on the continuous updating of the characteristics of its adhesives, which are designed to meet the technological development of the supports that are to be glued, as well as the development of the equipment used in various industrial applications.
ICAT srl was founded in 1974 with the aim of producing glues and adhesives for inindustrial applications. The plant of 10,000 m2 and technological advanced systems makes the company to one of the leading producers of adhesives in the industry. In 1993 ICAT bought 100% of the company Thermocol Sa. In Barcelona (Spain). Facilities and technologies from both companies enable us to offer the latest products and meet the needs of the market.

QUALITY - ENVIROMENT - SAFETY Quality, environment and safety are the main guidelines for the development of the company which has always looked ahead and made an innovative but responsible use of chemistry. ICAT got the ISO 9001 certificate for quality in 1999, the ISO 14001 certificate for environment in 2001, the ISO 18001 certificate for safety in 2011 and more recently it has organized an HACCP system of self-monitoring. ICAT has subscribed its own "BEHAVING CODE" in the observance of current laws and rules as well as the fulfilment of commitments with suppliers, clients or stockholders. Since 2011 the firm has been getting the necessary electric power from a photovoltaic plant composed of 3200 solar panels for a power of 750 KW.

Latest generation of hotmelt. Synthetic dispersion adhesives. Vegetable glues (starch, dextrin and casein based). Animal glue in blocks or powder. Polyurethane glue in aqueous dispersion or solvent-free.
