Fishbowl Activity This activity is a quick get to know you activity that does take a small amount of time to prepare for. First, print off all of the questions on regular paper, or mix it up and use colorful paper. Feel free to create questions that are tailored to fit your organization. After you print them out, cut them into stripes and fold them into quarters. Once you have all of your strips folded, put them all in a fish bowl or similar shaped glass bowl. You can find clear, glass bowls at your local dollar store. At your next meeting, have everyone draw a question from the bowl and answer it. This is a fun way to get to know people and to see how they answer the questions. A variation of this activity could be to draw one question and have everyone answer the same question. The fishbowl in my office sits on my bookshelf. It is always ready when I need a quick, impromptu get to know you activity.
