These items will need to be labeled with your child s name: 3 pocket folders (pockets on the bottom) 1 backpack big enough to fit folder in it (with initials on it) 1 pencil box 1 pair of Fiskar brand school scissors 1 change of underwear and pants in a Ziploc bag (stays in backpack) The items below are communal and will be shared with the whole class. 2 boxes of color crayons 24 #2 Ticonderoga pencils (pre-sharpened recommended) 2 large pencil erasers (not pencil toppers) 2 packs of glue sticks (4 glue sticks in a pack) 2 Packs Black Paper Mate Flair Felt tip markers 1 boxes of Kleenex 1 bottle of hand sanitizer 1 container of disinfectant wipes (Clorox or Lysol) 1 box of sandwich Ziploc baggies (with sliding zipper) $5 in an envelope with your child s name: This fee covers the cost for paper, art supplies, and Scholastic News. Clear Lake Elementary Mrs. Dow Room 5 Visions Grade 3 Supplies List 1 dozen #2 pencils (Plastic coated ones destroy the pencil sharpener. We will toss all of them into a plastic box to hand out during the year so basic yellow ones are fine.) I found that we run out of pencils quickly so plan on sending a 2 nd supply midyear. Try not to buy the cheapest pencil because they don t sharpen straight. 2 regular school pink erasers Colored pencils 12 to 24 pack (For mapping, journaling, etc.) 2 spiral notebooks wide ruled (For math and writing) 2 black or blue ball point pens (for writing journals) Scissor Anyone will do from home or last year. 5 glue sticks 1 package of white board markers. (Daily Calendar math.) 1 small supply box that will fit in the desk. Plastic folder with pockets - (This is for your take home folder.) 2 folders of your choice for keeping daily work in. Backpack A water bottle would be great. We do have spring water in the class. Please get one that isn t too tall. They are always getting knocked over.
