Child: William Johnson Biddle May have served during the Civil War. 16th Infantry, Co. H. Research continuing on this subject. He would have been very young but not impossible. 1. The 1860 Pendleton County, KY census lists a Wm J Biddle, age 7, in the household of Thomas Biddle, 30, along with Margaret, 28, Sanford, 2, and Alice, 4/12. 2. The 1870 Pendleton County, KY census lists a William J Biddle, age 17, in the household of Thomas Biddle, 40, along with Margaret, 38, Sandford, 13, Allice, 10, Dawson, 8, Cora, 5, and Nannie, 3. 3. I have no way of knowing which side they are buried in. I am sure there may be more than these mention. These records are from the Thomas & Fossitt Funeral Homes Records. They did not make it into the new cemetery book published by the historical society. Some of these people may have tombstones by now, but they did not in Oct 1982.
