Straight stitch - eyebrow V cut Overcast stitch on reverse side - V cut Large black eye Overcast stitch Satin stitch - Nose Tracing paper with template drawn on Applique stitch Overcast stitch Take a piece of tracing paper and draw the outline of the eyes and eye brows. Transfer this tracing paper now to one of the head pieces and press through the tracing paper with a fine tipped marker to make a faint imprint. Now take some black thread and by using straight stitch, apply the eyebrows. Cut a small incision in the centre of the marked eyes and push the eyes through and clamp the backs on that came with the eyes to keep them in place. Take the white nose piece and mark out the nose (use the nose template and tracing paper if desired) and satin stitch the nose on. Then applique stitch the white nose piece on the head as pictured using white thread. On both grey head pieces, using grey thread, overcast stitch the V cut on the reverse sides forming a nice shape to the top of the head. Take one of the grey ear pieces and one pink inner ear piece and using pink thread, applique stitch it to the grey ear piece. Then take the other grey ear piece and overcast stitch it to the back using grey thread. Repeat for other ear. Now take both ears and place them in between the front and back head pieces as pictured and overcast stitch around the head and stitching the ears in place as you go. Leave about 3cm before stitching head completely up so you can fill the head full of stuffing. Then stitch completely up.take one of the grey body pieces and the white belly piece and applique stitch them right around together as pictured. Then take the other grey body piece and stitch it to the front body piece as pictured and once again leaving 3cm at the end to fill with stuffing, then stitch up completely. 3
