Are you aged 4-11 years? Pop along to your local library and join in with the nation s biggest reading scheme, the Summer Reading Challenge! This year s challenge is Mischief Makers, inspired by the much-loved children s comic The Beano which is celebrating its 80th anniversary this year. Children can explore a map of Beanotown to find the mysterious buried treasure and become the ultimate mischief makers! Dennis, Gnasher and friends will help them solve clues and collect stickers, having lots of fun and adventures along the way! Read 6 books over the summer holidays to complete the challenge and enter the prize draw. Pick up a sticker book and collect stickers on each visit to your library. Explore the library and see if you can find the 10 Mischief Making Beano characters hidden around your local library. The CREST Awards scheme is the British Science Association s flagship programme for young people, providing science enrichment activities to inspire and engage.
