Bicycle Card Instructions Print off the template sheet. Choose which size of template you would like to use, this will depend on the size card you want to make. Cut out the corresponding size template from the sheet. Place it on a piece of plain or patterned paper and cut it out. Make sure you cut out the middle parts by carefully cutting in to them with scissors. Draw around the edge with a black or brown pen to highlight it. Hot Air Balloon Template A variety of different sizes to use on different sized projects or you could use them all together if you wanted to create a sense of depth on your card Page 3
Hot Air Balloon Card Instructions Print off the template sheet. Choose which size of template you would like to use, this will depend on the size card you want to make but you can also choose to use more than one size on your card to create a look of depth as in the finished card example bellow. Cut out the corresponding size template/s from the sheet. Place the template on a piece of plain paper and cut it out. Make sure you cut out the middle part by carefully cutting in to it with scissors. Draw around the top half of the hot air balloon on to two different piece of patterned paper and cut out the sections. Glue the sections on the first shape you cut out alternating the patterns. Draw around the edges of your balloon shape/s to highlight them. Put together your card background as you choose then add your hot air balloon embellishment/s on top to finish. Have fun! Tropical Flowers Template Size for portrait A6 size cards Size for landscape A6 size cards or 6x6 size cards. Page 5
Tropical Flowers Card Instructions Print off the template sheet. Choose which size of template you would like to use, this will depend on the size card you want to make although you can mix both sizes of flower on one card if you choose. Cut out the corresponding size template from the sheet. Place the flowers in turn on plain or patterned paper and cut them out. Draw around the centres on to brown coloured card and cut them out. Glue the centres to the flower shapes. Draw on the detail of the flowers or rub an inkpad around the edges of the flowers to give them definition. Cut an aperture from your card blank and arrange the three flowers in one of the corners of your aperture. You can add extra flowers around the edge if you choose. Add a piece of patterned paper to the inside of your card so it shows through the aperture. Add your choice of message to complete your card. Have fun! Image of finished card Page 6

Cut out the heart shape from the template and draw around it on to a different patterned paper then cut it out. Glue the heart on to the guitar shape. Draw around the edge of your embellishment with a black or brown pen to highlight it. Add your embellishment to your card blank, (or other project) and add your choice of message to finish. Have fun! Umbrella Cocktail Card Instructions Print off the template sheet and cut out the template, just cutting around the outermost edge ignore any of the details for now. Take a piece of A5 card and fold it in half. Place your template on the card so the left edge of the template matches up to the fold on your card and the bottom edge matches up to the bottom of the card. Draw around the template. Open out your card and cut out the shape from the front panel of your card. You should now have a card with a shaped edge. Cover the front of the card with a patterned paper you would like in your background of your card. Next take the template and now cut out the glass shape. Draw around this onto a piece of plain coloured cardstock and cut it out. Glue the glass shape to your card matching the edges up. Next cut out the drink part of the template and draw around this on to another plain coloured card and cut it out then stick it to your card. Next cut out the pineapple piece and draw around it on to yellow card then cut it out and glue it to your card. Finally cut out the umbrella on the template and draw around this on to a patterned paper. Cut out the shape. Cut out a long this piece of card for your umbrella stick and glue it to your card so it s tucked under the drink layer of card. Glue your umbrella cut out piece of paper to finish off your card. Island Bliss Template Fits a large square 6x6 envelope Page 13
Island Bliss Card Instructions Print off the template sheet. Cut out the template cutting around the outermost edge only. Place the template on a piece of folded card matching the straight lines on the template to the edges of your card, make sure either the top or bottom edge is matched up to the fold on your card. Draw around the template straight edges, (ignore the top of the palm tree for now, place it so it s drifting off your card edge) and cut out the card. Next take the template again and now cut out the palm tree and the sand. Draw around the palm tree on to a dark brown or green card and cut it out. Cut out the top half of the palm tree and draw around that on to a lighter green cardstock. Cut it out and glue it over the top of the whole palm tree shape. Draw around the sand on to a yellow based patterned paper and cut it out. Cover the whole of your card blank with blue card then glue the sand shape on top matching the bottom edge. Glue the palm tree on top, it should pop out from the top of your card. Add your choice of message to finish off your card. Have fun! Giraffe Template Different sizes so you can pick one out to suit your project. Page 17
Giraffe Card Instructions Print off the template sheet on to plain paper. Choose which size of template you would like to use, this will depend on the size card you want to make. Find two patterned paper leftovers one with a yellow based patterned and one with a brown pattern. Take one of the scraps of paper and glue it with a glue stick or temporary adhesive over the top of the template you want to use. Pop your template sheet back in your printer and print the same page again so it prints the template over the top of your piece of patterned paper. Peel the patterned paper off the template sheet and repeat the process with your second piece of patterned paper. Cut out the giraffe from the yellow patterned paper. From the brown paper just cut out the giraffes spots, hair, feet, nose and end of his tail. Glue each piece you cut out onto your yellow giraffe, it s easier to cut out a piece then stick it on so you don t forget what shape goes where. Add your choice of background to your card and add your giraffe embellishment on top to finish. Have fun! Image of finished card Page 18

Carousel Card Instructions Print off the template sheet on to a piece of white card. Colour in the carousel horse and cut out the carousel base from the sheet. Draw around the carousel base on to a piece of card and cut it out. Cut the card carousel base up in to the different sections and cover each piece with different patterned papers then reassemble them on to your whole carousel base piece. Draw around the edges of your carousel base with a pen to highlight them. Cut out your coloured in carousel horse and glue it to your carousel base. Cover a large square card blank with patterned paper and add your carousel embellishment on top. Use 3D foam pads to give your embellishment natural shadows that help it stand out on your background and give it a more solid look. Have fun! Image of finished card Page 20
