DATA SHEET OLI580: Opto-Isolated High-Speed Power MOSFET Driver for Hybrid Assembly Features 3 Performance guaranteed over full military temperature range High Common Mode Rejection (CMR), >10 k/μs High speed: <200 typical delay time <45 typical and Under-oltage Lock Out (ULO) with hysteresis Operating range of 10 to 18 High output current 6 Cathode DD 1 Anode 2 GND 4 OUT 202337-001 Description The OLI580 is an opto-coupled non-inverting power Metal Oxide Semiconductor/Silicon Field-Effect Traistor (MOSFET) driver for the hybrid assembly of switching loads where elecical isolation is required. Each unit coists of an LED that is optically coupled to a Bi-polar Complementary Metal Oxide Semiconductor (BiCMOS) driver integrated circuit, and packaged in a chip carrier for hybrid assembly that provides 1500 of input/output iulation and over 10 k/μs of CMR. The integrated driver and active pull-down circuit can drive high peak currents into a 1000 pf capacitive load (CLOAD) with fast output rise and fall times. Energizing the input LED produces a logic high output. The ULO circuiy in the output ips at 7.5, and forces the output to low. The ULO circuit with hysteresis eures proper operation during power-up, and prevents damage during brownout conditio. All terminals are fully protected agait up to 4 k of elecostatic discharge (ESD). Device mounting is achieved by a standard hybrid assembly with non-conductive epoxies. Gold or aluminum wire bonding can be used to make elecical connectio for maximum placement flexibility.
