Entry Deadline: Friday, June, 24, 2016 Late Entry: June 25 July 15 with $5 late charge. How to Enter: Entries must be made to Fair Office Beginning May 1 st : 9595 Nelson Rd. Longmont, CO 80501 Mail in; Walk in; or online at www.bouldercountyfair.org This department is subject to all Boulder County Fair General Rules and all Open Class Creative Living Rules in addition to those listed for the department. It is the Exhibitor s responsibility to be familiar with all rules. RULES: 1. Read the Open Class Creative Living Rules and Boulder County General Rules and Regulations. 2. Please note that located on the website ribbons and monetary premiums will only be awarded for 1 st, 2 nd, and 3 rd place. When filling out entry form, Open Class Scrapbooking and Paper Crafts is Department 120. 3. Exhibits must have been designed and made within the last 2 years. 4. All work must be an original design by the exhibitor, not copies, not from a kit, or not from a class. Please do not enter the same card in multiple lots. 5. Cards, scrapbook pages, and all other entries, must be in a protective see through sleeve, such as a page protector (for scrapbook pages) or Ziploc bag (for cards). 6. All projects must be completely dry to the touch and not smear or come off on fingertips. 7. Articles must be entered in the name of the person who made them. 8. An exhibitor may enter up to 2 different articles in each class. 9. Please do not stamp or write your name anywhere on your card or scrapbook page. 10. Please include a 3x5 index card, with each entry, explaining what materials were used and any special techniques you may have used.
11. No full size manufactured albums please. For more information about album projects, the album must be all one theme and use some form of handmade binding. 12. Enter your exhibit in the most appropriate class. If you have used several techniques, select the most predominant technique when choosing your class. The superintendents will ensure that your entry is in the most appropriate class, even if that means creating a new class. *If your card has all pre-made elements, there is a new class for those cards and only two may be entered by each exhibitor. 13. At the discretion of the superintendents or Judge, exhibits may be reclassified. 14. For entries in the pre-teen classes, please write the age of the pre-teen on the back of the item entered. 15. Judging is open to the public and the superintendents encourage all interested parties to attend. 16.
