SHED ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS PLEASE READ BEFORE COMMENCING SHED CONSTRUCTION 1. Check box contents against component list. 2. Read the instructions thoroughly. 3. We recommend securing the shed to a concrete base or paving slabs. 4. To avoid cuts and abrasions wear protective gloves. 5. Shed assembly should be undertaken by two people. 6. Precautions must be undertaken when siting sheds in exposed areas. Always securely fix the base down, keep the door locked and take extra care in high winds when opening. TOOLS REQUIRED Large flat blade screwdriver. Large Philips screwdriver. 8 mm Spanner. 10 mm Spanner. (Electric drill and spanner for ground anchors). PARTS NOT SUPPLIED 4 X M8 Rawl Bolts 2

SITE PREPARATION We recommend that all our sheds are sited and fastened to a concrete base ( 4 or 100 mm thick ) or to paving slabs. BASE AREA REQUIRED 8 X 10 ft = 2700 mm Wide x 3300 mm Long For ease of assembly allow three feet ( 900 mm ) of clearance around the shed free from obstructions. BASE ASSEMBLY 1a Identify the base components Part No s (1) (2) (3) and (4), also M5 Bolts Part No (36). 1b 1c 1d 1e 1f 1g PLACE ALL THE COMPONENTS NEAR YOUR PREPARED BASE SITE. Secure the side channels to the front/rear channels to form a square. Place the base onto the prepared site and attach the 4 base gussets (4) to each corner, as shown in Figure 2. Check the diagonals of the base to ensure it is square, as shown in Figure 1 and tighten all the bolts. Figure 3 shows the completed base with the four optional floor supports in position. We recommend that you attach the base frame to your site using M8 Rawl Bolts (not supplied) secured through the base gussets (4). Fit the Door Steps (3) + (5) to the outer and inner base as shown in Figure 4, using two Self Tapping Screws (38). (If flooring is laid the outer step only is to be used). 4

FRAME ASSEMBLY 2a 2b Select the four Corner Posts (9) and attach to the top of each post one of the four Top Gussets (8) as shown in Figure 5, using M5 Bolts (36) & Nuts (37). DO NOT TIGHTEN. Stand the Corner Post upright with the Gusset at the top. Place the base of the Corner Post on top of the base assembly and fasten into position using two screws (38) as shown in Figure 6. REPEAT this operation for all four corners. 2c 2d 2e Identify the two Side Panel/Roof Supports (11) and place next to either side of the base and identify the two Front/Rear Gable Supports (12) and place one at the front and rear of the shed. Attach the Side Panel/Roof Support (11) to the top of the Corner Post, each end resting on top of the Gusset using M5 Bolts (36) & Nuts (37), as shown in Figure 7. Repeat this for the other side also. Attach one Front/Rear Gable Support (12) to the top of the rear corner posts. The support (12) sits on top of the Side Panel Roof Support (11) and is secured into position using M5 Bolts (36) & Nuts (37), also shown in Figure 7. Repeat this operation for the rear of the shed. 2f Attach the six Side/Rear posts (7) to the base, two at each side and two at the rear, using two screws (38) on each, and attach to the Side Panel Roof Support (11) at the top of the two sides of the shed and to the Front/Rear Gable Support at the rear of the shed as shown in Figure 8, using M5 Bolts (36) & Nuts (37). 2g Select the two Front Panel/Door Pillar Supports (13) and attach to the front of the shed as shown in Figure 9. The base is secured using screws (38) and the top is secured with M5 Bolts (36) & Nuts (37). 5

CLADDING NOTE: THERE ARE THREE OPTIONS REGARDING WINDOWS: Option 1 Two Windows (Standard). Option 2 Four Windows (2 Front and Rear). Option 3 No Windows Assemble additional front panel (15) in place of the window fitting. 3a 3b 3c 3d The rear of the shed uses three Rear Panels (46) and six Front Panels (15). Select a Front Panel (15) and starting at the top of the shed, screw the Panel to the Corner and Centre Posts, then take a Rear Panel (46) and screw to the top of the two Centre Posts as shown in Figure 10. The next panel is slid into position and hangs on the base of the first panel and is then secured to the Corner/Centre Posts using screws (38). Fasten all the panels to the panel above using the Stainless Steel Roofing Bolts (39) Nuts (40) & Washers (41) inserted from the outside in the centre of each panel, as shown in Figure 11. The lowest panel can then be screwed into the base, as shown in Figure 12. The side is assembled in the same way. Once the sides are clad, secure the middles of the panels to the Side/Rear Post (7) with a Self Tapping Screw (38). For the front, fit two panels each side only, starting with the middle panel and then the lower panel. Now clad the other side of the doorway using the two remaining panels. Fig 11 WINDOW FITTING 4a Remove plastic coating from Window Panels (50). Fit the Lower Frame Retainer (53) to the top of Front Panel (15) and hold the Window Panel (50) in position. 4b Fit the Z Frames (52) to the top and base of the window, then fit the two Side Frames (45), over Window Panel and Z Frames. Secure with four Self Tapping Screws (38). See figure 13. 6

PANEL RETAINERS 5a 5b Select the four Corner Panel Retainers (16) and the two Centre Panel Retainers, (42). Stick the foam Weather Strip (23) down the full length of all six Panel Retainers as shown in Figures 14 & 15. Attach the Corner Panel Retainers (16) to each corner of the shed using M5 x 20mm Extra Long Bolt/Nut (37a). Note the position of the bolts alternating screw positions down the length of the retainer as shown in figure 16. 5c Select the four Corner Covers (17) and slide position on the four corners as shown in Figures 17 & 18. 5d Attach the two centre Panel Retainers (42) to the Rear Posts (7) at the rear of the shed using Nuts (37) and M5 Bolts (36). The bolts go through the Rear Post (7) into the Panel Retainer (42) as shown in Figure 19. 5e Slide the Centre Cover (43) onto the Panel Retainer (42), as shown in Figure 20. 7

GABLE ASSEMBLY 6a 6b Locate one Gable Set (48), the two Small Gable Trims (20) and one Large Gable Trim (18). Slot the Large Gable Trim between the two Large Gables and secure with M5 Bolts (36) & Nuts (37).Slot the Small Gable Trims (20) between a Small and Large Gables, also secure with M5 Bolts (36) & Nuts (37). Attach assembled Gables loosely to the Front Gable Support (12) using M5 Bolts (36) & Nuts (37), then place one Door Rain Deflector (19) on top of the Gable Support ensuring it is sandwiched between the Gable and the Gable Support (12). The base of the gables can now be secured as shown in Figures 21 and 22. 6c Place the Gable Stiffeners (49) on to the upper edges of the Gable, as shown in Figure 23. 6d Repeat 6a 6b & 6c for Back Gable Assembly without Rain Deflector (19). ROOF SUPPORT ASSEMBLY 7a Place the Ridge Beam Support (21) on top of the two Gables and secure through parts (49) and (47), using two M5 Bolts (36) & Nuts (37), each end as shown in Figure 24. 7b Lift the Roof Panel Support into position, (there are three to each side), as shown in Figure 25. Fix one end of the Roof Panel Support to the Ridge Beam Support (21) and the other end to the Side Panel Roof Support (11), at the bottom using two M5 Bolts (36) & Nuts (37). 8

8a 8b ROOF ROOF ASSEMBLY ASSEMBLY Select the eight Roof Panels, four Middle Roof Panels (25) and four End Roof Panels (24). (The four End Roof Panels (24) have a folded edge). Place one of the end panels (24) on top of the shed and slide it carefully so that the upturned edge is above a gable then repeat for the other side. (This is to ensure access to roof fixings). Select a Middle Roof Panel (25) and overlap the end Roof Panel by one rib as shown in Figure 26 and secure, using M5 Bolts (36) & Nuts (37), fitted with a Sealing Washer (26). The second Middle Panel also overlaps the first Middle Roof Panel by one rib, then fit the other end Roof Panel. Secure all through the Roof Supports (22). NOTE: It is important to use Sealing Washers (26) for all Roof Fixings. See Figure 27. 8c The Roof Panels have four Roof Brackets (44) each side, which are used to hold the Low Side Roof Trims (51) in position. The Brackets fit at the lower end at either side of the centre ribs and just inside the last ribs of either end of the End Roof Panels. Fit Washer (26) under the brackets to form a seal with the roof panel. 8d Slide the two End Roof Trims (29) onto both ends of the shed, overlapping the fold in end Roof Panel (24) and the Gable Stiffener as shown in Figure 28. Bolt through the trim and Gable using a Sealing Washer (26) under the head of the Bolt (36) and secure using a Nyloc Nut (40). 8e 8f Slide the Ridge Beam End Cap (28) onto the Roof Panel End Trim and over the Ridge Beam (27). Secure each with two Self Tappers. See Figures 29 & 30. Repeat for the rear of the shed. Select a Side Roof Lower Trim (51). Place on top of the lower edge of the Roof Panels and fasten to the Roof Trim Bracket (44) using M5 Bolts (36) & Nuts (37). Repeat for the other side Roof Trim. See Figure 31. 39 9

DOOR & DOORWAY FITTINGS 9a 9b Select the two Door Pillar Cover/Slam Pieces (30) and slot one onto the left hand Door Frame and one to the right hand frame, as shown in Figure 32. Secure into position from inside the shed using three screws (38). Carefully lie the left hand Door (31), (which has a hole for the handle and is illustrate), on a flat surface. Attach the Top Hinge Assembly (33) to the door using two stainless steel bolts as shown in Figure 33. 9c Fit the Base Hinge Assembly (32) to the base of the door using bolts (39) as shown in Figure 34. 9d 9e 9f Lift the Door Assembly and position the Base Hinge Pivot in the hole in the base next to the Door Pillar. Holding the Door upright and open, slide the top hinge under the Gable Support and fit the retaining bolts (39) as shown in Figures 33 & 34. Repeat for Right hand Door. NOTE: There is adjustment in the hinges to level the doors; keeping a uniform gap between the door and frame. Fig 33 DOOR BAR & HANDLE FITTINGS 10a Locate the Door Handle Kit (35) and the Door Bar Assembly (34). Fit the door handle to the door as shown in Figure 35. 10b Push the Door Bar through the top and bottom holes in the door as shown in Figure 37. Push the retaining plate onto the Door Handle Spigot and fix into position Using the split pin provided as shown in Figure 36. NOTE: ONCE THE SHED ASSEMBLY HAS BEEN COMPLETED ALL FIXINGS AND FASTENERS CAN NOW BE FULLY TIGHTENED 10
