JINDRICH FRYC The President of the European Chess Union, Mr.Silvio Danailov met with the Minister of Education and Sport of the Czech Republic, Ph Dr. Jindrich Fryc. Together with the President of the Czech Chess Federation, Mr.Viktor Novotny, and the General Secretary, Mr. Petr Pisk, they discussed the ECU program Chess in scholl and introduction of chess as educational tool. Mr. Danailov informed the Minister about the development of the program in different European countries. Fabiano Caruana (ITA, ELO 2779) won FIDE Grand Prix Paris 2013 with the final result of 7 points out of 11 and better tie-break than Boris Gelfand (ISR, ELO 2764), who finished with the same result.
