What I ve done in this Blueprint PDF is boil down the Accelerated Interview Method framework so you can see, at a glance, everything that you should consider doing, improving, or implementing in your job search. This is my working mind map of the entire interview and resume writing process. When I first created these techniques, I only used them for myself as I moved from job to job, and it made that process about 200X easier for me. But I never dreamed that I would be teaching this method to thousands of professionals and college graduates all over the world. And since I had very little college and work experience, interviewing for jobs was extremely difficult. But after hundreds of failed job interviews, I started getting better and better at educating employers about what I could do for them. So good in fact, that I could practically get hired for any job that I set my sights on. At the time, these were my private techniques that I used for my own personal gain. Fast forward to today and now I ve documented everything that worked for me and my clients. Now I teach this method it s the Accelerated Interview Method, and I ve been teaching it since 2007 and it has literally helped thousands of my students and clients from all over the world get hired for their dream jobs. My methods have not gone unnoticed, and I guess it was cool enough that I was recently invited by a world famous business author to collaborate on her brand new college textbook. Dr. Mary Ellen Guffey interviewed me to gain valuable insight into what it is that job seekers need to do to impress interviewers and get hired for jobs in their chosen career field. In any case, I love helping my students overcome the obstacles that once prevented me from advancing in my career and made it difficult for me to interview and get hired for jobs. The obstacles that prevented me from getting jobs that I was well-qualified for. Well, no more They are no longer obstacles for me nor any of my students and clients. My students come from every background imaginable. The medical field, federal and local government, politics, manufacturing, any kind of sales, hospitality, finance, executive management, teaching, academia, IT, non-profit, engineering, health care, etc. And I never would have imagined that people all over the world would be using my strategies and techniques to prepare for their interviews and get hired for their dream jobs from Europe and the UK to Asia to Africa to South and Central America and of course in Australia, New Zealand, and obviously in the U.S. and Canada. But soon after I developed the Accelerated Interview Method, I realized that my students were using my techniques to get hired for any kind of job. Accelerated Interview Framework was based on, but it was bigger than that, much bigger. I only assumed that people in business, sales, engineering, and technology would benefit from my methods, but I soon realized that it didn t matter what their background was, the type of job they were interviewing for, or where they lived. The Accelerated Interview Method worked for all jobs, for all candidates, no matter how little or how much experience they had, and it worked equally as well for people who had no college experience vs. others with Masters Degrees. Many of my students use it because they were fired from their last job and have not interviewed for a while. College graduates use it to jump start their career and begin working right after graduation. Moms use it who are ready to get back into the workforce after raising children for 20 years. All types of professionals use it, while they are still working because they want to advance their career, or they see the writing is on the wall and realize the need to get out before their company downsizes. It just didn t matter and it was the perfect equalizer. It gave anyone who implemented it an unfair advantage and a fighting chance to land their dream job. Who could have imagined? The past seven years have been amazing! And I have been very blessed to be able to share my strategies with so many amazing people, and to have helped them achieve their career goals and dream jobs. I love teaching and showing my students how to apply the Accelerated Interview Method in their job search. But I can t stress this enough you don t need to do everything in that blueprint, only what is relevant to you and your job search. There is going to be a lot of material in that blueprint. I m not going to be able to cover all of it in this video, it s just too big. In fact, my first go around at creating the video took 90 minutes, and at that, I was skimming through the blueprint. So I had to edit the original video down to 45 minutes. Covering the entire blueprint would probably take 2.5 3 hours, at least. But don t worry because in this video, I made it my goal to cover the most popular topics and common strategies that most everyone would benefit from.
