CSIR Integrated Skill Initiative Advanced Machining & Welding CSIR-IMMT CSIR-IMMT is one of the leading technology organizations in mineral processing and materials technology. Its Central Mechanical Workshop is well equipped with modern and state of the art machinery such as Conventional Lathe m/c, Milling m/c, Surface Grinder m/c, Shaping m/c, Radial drilling m/c, CNC Lathe, CNC Milling and CNC EDM m/c to carter to the needs of different R&D requirements. All the machineries are supported by well trained technical manpower and advanced CAD & CAM software are used to carry out precision works. One of the objectives of CSIR-IMMT is to support the Govt. of India s mission on skill development in order to create skilled manpower. Selection procedure: Applications shall be scrutinized on merit basis. Physically handicapped candidates should be able to stand without any support and work with both the hands. Salient features of the course: 20% theory and 80% practical; Hands on practical exposure to different machineries; Industrial visits/ Manufacturing unit visits.
