To achieve the furniture s bright and appealing design style requires the application of several coats of specially mixed paint, which is layered onto the under frames to provide an interesting, low-sheen finish complete with visual brush marks and imperfections. The unpainted top surfaces are treated with a wax-like formula to enhance the natural character of the individual reclaimed boards.
