Step by step guide to Your Childcare Vouchers from Rascals Welcome Thanks for joining the Rascals Childcare Vouchers scheme. This guide will give all the information you need to use the system. The first thing you will see when you log in to your account is the Welcome screen (Fig 1). Fig 1.

Your Salary Sacrifice Agreement You can always refer back to this whenever you want to. Follow the link under User Details to the Print Agreement button (Fig 2). Fig 2. You can now view and/or print your agreement. Your employer will want a signed copy of this on file, so if you haven t done so yet, it s probably a good idea print it now, sign it and give it to your company.

Viewing your statement You can always see how much money you have in your account at any time by clicking on the My Statement button in the menu (Fig 3). Fig 3.

Paying your carers (New Standing Order Function) You can make one off payments to your carer in the same way as you would from a bank account or you can set up a regular standing order to make the same payment again and again. To make a one-off payment. Just enter the following details: Amount you want to pay your carer. The name of the child for whom you are paying. The name of the carer that you wish to pay. A reference for your carer (the system will automatically use your child s name but you can change this if you want to). Select a single payment. Select either immediate payment or a date in the future. Our payment to your carer will be made within 24 hours of the date you have selected. Click submit. Here s an example of the screen you use to pay your carer (Fig 4). Fig 4.

And, of course, your Statement will immediately reflect this payment (Fig 5). Fig 5.

To set up a Standing Order. Just enter the following details: Amount you want to pay your carer. The name of the child for whom you are paying. The name of the carer that you wish to pay. A reference for your carer (the system will automatically use your child s name but you can change this if you want to). Select a standing order payment. Select the first date you want the payment to be made. Select the frequency you want to make the payment. Click submit. The choice, flexibility and control are in your hands.

Searching for a Carer To find a new carer from the list of those we already know simply click on Care Company and Manage. Then click on the link as shown in Fig 6 below. Fig 6. Then select either Company or Childminder / Nanny / Au pair.

If you select Company you will be given the option of searching under Name or Postcode (Fig 7). Fig 7.

If you select Childminder / Nanny / Au pair you will need to search for them using their registration number. This will be their OFSTED or Surestart registration numbers or any other number from a regional approval body (Fig 8). A list of these is available from our website www.rascalschildcarevouchers.co.uk Fig 8.

Telling us about a New Carer You can add new carers to your account at any time it s easy. Simply follow the link to Add New Carer that you ll find if you point to the menu on the left where it says Care Company and then click on Suggest New. This will take you to a form (Fig 9) like this: Fig 9. Fill in the details and we ll contact your carer to get things like their Ofsted number and their bank details. Once we have approved them you ll receive an email to confirm that they are now live. You can see your list of carers (Fig 10) on the Manage menu item if you point at Care Company again.

Fig 10. Adding a new Child If you find yourself in the lucky position of having an extra mouth to feed, then it s easy to add their details to your account. Just click on Add new Child on the Children Information page (Fig 11). Fig 11.
