Meet the Professionals Robert M. Panessiti Portfolio Manager First Vice President Bob Panessiti formed the TPC Group at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney in January of 2011. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley Smith Barney LLC, Bob spent over ten years at Merrill Lynch and three years as a Principal of Panessiti & Associates, LLC, a registered investment advisor firm in Waltham MA. Bob received his BA from the University of Massachusetts, at Amherst in 1988; Master of Science in Finance (MSF) from Suffolk University, Boston MA, in 1999; and his Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) designation from the American College, Bryn Mawr, PA, in 1992. Bob s experience lies in all areas of the capital markets, including portfolio construction, risk management, and helping to facilitate the sale of closely held business interests. He also has extensive experience in financial planning and executive compensation plans. Bob has served on numerous committees and non profit boards. Bob received the Boston Magazine Five Star Wealth Manager Award in February 2010 *, for client service; and was the key note speaker at the Suffolk University Fall 2010 MFS reception. Albert S. Toto III Assistant Vice President Financial Advisor Clark Hatch Financial Advisor Michelle MacNeil Client Service Associate Alby Toto formed the TPC Group at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney in January of 2011. Alby has extensive experience assisting corporate executives, entrepreneurs, families and corporations with asset allocation, portfolio construction and methodologies, financial, tax and estate planning. Alby s role on the team includes investment strategy, financial planning, institutional investment manager due diligence and business development. Alby received his B.A. from Davidson College and in 1999 he began his career at Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith. In 2009, he joined Morgan Stanley Smith Barney. Alby lives in Marblehead, MA with his wife, Kathleen and their two children. In his free time, Alby enjoys golf, sailing and reading. Clark joined Morgan Stanley Smith Barney in June of 2010. Clark graduated from Hamilton College in 2001 with a major in economics. He then began his career with Goldman Sachs on the floor of the NYSE. After over six years as an institutional equity trader and market maker with Goldman, Clark left to pursue an MBA at Georgetown University. Graduating in the spring of 2009 with a concentration in finance, Clark joined UBS on a private wealth management team in their Bethesda, MD office. After a year with UBS, Clark and his wife relocated to Boston where he joined the TPC Group at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney in January of 2011. Clark s role on the team includes alternative investment manager s due diligence, equity research and trade execution, and business development. Clark and his wife Laura currently live in South Boston. In his free time, Clark enjoys playing hockey and golf, and spending time with their golden retriever, Maggie. Michelle joined Morgan Stanley Smith Barney and its predecessors in 2007 as a client service associate. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley Smith Barney, Michelle spent 15 years at Merrill Lynch as a sales assistant. Michelle s main focus for the TPC Group is to enhance the overall client experience by anticipating needs, solving problems and delivering exceptional client service. Before beginning her career in the financial services industry, Michelle worked in the legal field. She has a paralegal certificate from Newbury College and an undergraduate degree in criminal justice from UMASS Dartmouth. In her spare time, Michelle enjoys body building and outdoor sports.
