Midland Cabinet Company Fine Custom Cabinetry & Millwork Since 1965
Since 1965, Midland Cabinet Company has created rooms and special spaces that reflect the lifestyles and aesthetics of clients seeking the best in fine cabinetry and architectural millwork. Your style, your design, custom engineered to fit. YOUR STYLE
YOUR DESIGN Whether we work directly with homeowners or through their architect, contractor, or interior designer, the result is the same: plans rendered as specified. Our industry reputation extends to expert design development and process engineering.
CUSTOM MADE Everything Midland builds is custom made, as desired and required by our clients and their team of design professionals. We know that one size never fits all homes or all families.
Why Custom? Like a fine handmade suit, custom cabinetry is made to order and to fit. With custom work, there are no ironclad rules about standard sizes or shapes, the wood you choose, or the finishes and hardware you use. We fabricate cabinets and all our wood products in-house, exactly as ordered: We do not stock pre-made cabinetry. Midland makes all its products locally in San Carlos, California, which means our cabinetry is free from a range of toxic chemicals banned by California, such as formaldehyde. Our finishes are low in VOCs, also meeting California s high standards. Buy smart, buy local: Cabinets made and shipped from out of state do not need to follow California s safety and environmental requirements.
PRECISION ENGINEERING Most custom cabinet companies outsource their manufacturing. We build our products in-house at our own fabrication facility, a 23,000-square-foot, fully computerized shop with state-of-the-industry equipment. Together with an outstanding team of master craftsmen, Midland can guarantee that every dovetail, every joint and reveal, every line of grain in an architectural veneer is precision engineered and handcrafted. The quality shows in the final product, inside and out.
Our premium woods and fancy-faced veneers are handpicked for evenness of color and grain. We mill restoration timber and reclaimed wood for architectural details, and we have long offered clients wood products certified by the Forest Stewardship Council. Midland stands behind its products. We service our customers for the lifetime of their cabinetry.
DESIGN DEVELOPMENT Design development means just that: developing your designs to ensure that they look and function according to concept. This is the nuts-and-bolts technical phase, during which Midland goes over every detail, from floor plans and elevations to materials and architectural elements, doing so through our lens as product designer and manufacturer. Jeb Boynton We appreciate and care about your vision. Design development is the engineering road map to making it a structural reality. Design Development Is How We Ensure Structural Integrity Our design development process takes architectural concepts to the next level: engineering. For Midland, design development focuses on the technical side of production. For clients, it offers a better view of what s to come. Rob Boynton Sometimes a sketch is worth 1,000 technical terms. We also provide 3D renderings. Both are the means for fine tuning the big picture: your special space.
