It can cook food, warm our bodies, and hep pants grow. Te chidren you are going to do an activity that uses energy from the sun. Each chid gets a piece of back construction paper and some pennies. Have them write their names on the paper using chak or crayon. Find a sunny spot outside, set papers on the ground, and have chidren pace pennies in a design on their piece of paper. Coins shoud not overap. Leave the designs in the sun for a few minutes, or onger. Papers shoud be kept in a safe pace if you are going to eave them. Bring papers in and remove the coins.
