Stuart Air Show and Road to Victory Military Museum Joint Press Release Contact: Elisabeth Glynn Phone: 772-781-4882 (o) 443-803-7770 (c) Email: Elisabeth@StuartAirShow.com FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE STUART AIR SHOW CONTRIBUTES TO LOCAL MUSEUM Martin County, Florida: Each year, the Stuart Air Show makes several charitable contributions to local nonprofit and community organizations. The most recent air show, held this past fall, was the most successful the event has ever been. Over 50,000 people came to see the air show, said Don McGlynn, Stuart Air Show Board President. Each ticket purchased enables us to make our charitable contributions. The Stuart Air Show provides contributions to several designated recipients. Among them is the Road to Victory Military Museum, a nonprofit organization that honors the brave men and women who have served or who are presently serving in the US Armed Forces. The museum is located in the heart of Stuart on Stypmann Avenue. The donation from the Stuart Air Show directly benefitted the Museum, allowing them to purchase a command post trailer to be used as a mobile Museum as well as to refurbish a WWII era ambulance to its full authenticity. The air show has done a lot to support the museum over the years, said Michael Roberts, President of the Road to Victory Military Museum. Our partnership gives us the opportunity to highlight military history and honor those who have served our country. We were even able to showcase the ambulance as part of the Museum s display at the 4 th of July festivities in downtown Stuart. Historical artifacts, uniforms, photographs, weapons, and vehicles are displayed at the Museum, which focuses on paying homage to our country s heroes while educating the public. The Museum is 100% volunteer driven. In addition to their efforts in supporting the Museum, this

dedicated team of volunteers donates hundreds of volunteer hours at the Stuart Air Show by providing an exciting weapons demonstration and thrilling WWII battle reenactment as well as playing an integral role behind the scenes of the event. We re anticipating another successful year, added McGlynn. The success of the air show directly allows us to make more of an impact on our community. The 2015 Stuart Air Show will be held on October 30 November 1 at Martin County Airport Witham Field and will feature the US Navy F-18, the US Air Force F-16, and the US Army Golden Knights. Pre-sale tickets are available for $15 online at www.stuartairshow.com or by calling 877-577- 9463. Ticket prices at the gate will be $25. Additional information on special pricing for Youth and Veterans/Active Military can be found online. Children under the age of five are free.
