Retractable Horizontal Screen Single Door (Unika shown) Before proceeding, decide which of fitting options you wish to use and predrill top and bottom guides prior to assembling the unit. Top and Bottom guide securing options A Use screws provided in pack. (Face Fitting)(Unika only) B Front face 7mm, rear 3mm and fitted cover caps. (Face Fitting) C Single hole to suit screws used. (Recess Fitting) A C Additional Purchase side guide fitting tool allows the fluffy pile to be safely moved for drilling and screwing. (Double sided tape ( Flydor 9490.1) can be used as an alternative fixing method dependant on size and application of screen.) (Recess Fitting) Secure Cassette clips into recess side as diagram. Position the cassette at the side of the reveal by pushing into the cassette clip. (Please note the Genius Model will have a guide wheel at the bottom of the pull bar.) (Face Fitting) Slide the L Bracket into the groove on the cassette top and affix to the frame by (loosely) screwing directly into the frame.
(All Fittings) Slide the top and bottom guides onto the cassette lugs. Attach the magnetic channel by directly screwing through the profile into the frame or recess as required. Check the frame is square before proceeding to secure the top and bottom guides. Tighten the face fix clips. To operate the screen. Pull across smoothly and simply click into place. To open, gently push the bar away from you to break the magnetic seal. At the same time move the bar away from the channel to allow it to retract into the cassette housing. Maintenance; To keep your Unika in perfect working order please keep the guides free from debris and dirt. Should you need to clean the mesh, open the screen fully and simply lightly sponge with a mild cleaning agent and allow to dry before closing.

Genius Models only; Insert shoot bolt catches into the top and bottom guides as shown. Loosely secure roughly halfway in the channel. (Recess Fitting) Secure Cassette clips into recess side as diagram. Position the Slave door (shoot bolted)cassette at the side of the reveal by pushing into the cassette clip. (Genius model will have a guide wheel situated at the bottom)
(Face Fitting) Slide the L Brackets into the groove on both of the cassette tops and affix the slave cassette by (loosely) screwing directly into the frame. (All Fittings) Slide the top and bottom guides onto the Slave door cassette lugs. Position the opening Door cassette into the top and bottom guides and clip or loosely screw into place. Check your screen is square before securing all the fittings. Unika Models Position the shoot bolt catches (top shown) in line with each other. Secure using a screw through the long hole first. Open the slave door and use shoot bolts to hold in place. Adjust top and bottom catches to ensure door edge is straight, before screwing through the single hole to finish. Genius Models Open the slave door and use the shoot bolts to hold in place. Adjust the catches until the door edge is straight and tightly secure the grub screws. To operate the screen. Pull across the slave door and use shoot bolts to hold in place. Pull the opening door across so magnets click together. To open, gently pull opening door bar towards you while pushing the slave door bar away from you. This will break the magnetic seal and allow the opening door to retract into the cassette. Release the shoot bolts and allow the slave door to retract. Maintenance; To keep your Screens in perfect working order, please keep the guides free from debris and dirt. Option; If It may be possible to convert your double door into single door use, by simply attaching a magnetic catch channel to the false mullion. (Please check that mullion is level with outer frame)
