The Last 50 Miles: Using the Village Level Entrepreneur Network to Increase Clean Energy Access New Ventures India is implementing a project on increasing clean energy access using Village Level Entrepreneur channels across the country. The objective of our work is be to develop training modules that can be used by clean energy access companies to recruit and train micro entrepreneurs in villages and work with existing VLE networks to sell and service their products. This project has helped renewable energy companies understand VLE networks and vice versa. We profiled VLEs working for all leading financial and nonfinancial institutions to help them understand the landscape of increasing clean energy access through their local channels. Market Access for Clean Energy Access Projects New Ventures India is working on a project to assess the market potential of energy efficiency and renewable energy in commercial buildings specific to the cities of Tamil Nadu and Karnataka.
