Goldman has advised management in all areas of employment and labor law for more than 15 years. He now focuses his practice on helping employers prevent employee-related problems before they become lawsuits. He is particularly familiar with matters involving: Title VII The Americans with Disabilities Act / Family and Medical Leave Act The Sarbanes-Oxley Act / Foreign Corrupt Practice Act / UK Bribery Act AB 1825 International law David is currently the managing shareholder of the Littler Learning Group, which is devoted to meeting clients' employment law and corporate compliance training needs. In this position, he helps ensure that all training programs incorporate Littler Mendelson's best legal practices and cutting-edge learning techniques and meet clients' individual needs. He founded the firm's client training division in 2000. He is a frequent author on the topic of compliance training and has testified before the California Fair Employment and Housing Commission on the regulations to AB 1825. He has trained management and industry leaders on a wide variety of topics, such as: Harassment Diversity Ethics International management Leadership Performance 1

Investigations Compliance Unions / Labor Relations He also provides executive coaching and is a published author on numerous employment law, management, and training topics. Additionally, David develops and reviews employee handbooks, policies, contracts, and codes of conduct. He has implemented alternative dispute resolution programs involving both arbitration and mediation of employment issues, and when disputes do arise, he represents management in federal and state court and before government agencies. He also counsels employers on traditional labor law, and defending them against charges of unfair labor practices before the National Labor Review Board. Resident in the San Francisco office, David works with clients across the country in industries that include: Pharmaceuticals Bio-technology High technology Legal Finance Accounting Prior to his legal career, David was an assistant vice president in the finance industry, where he gained first-hand experience with managing employees through many of the legal issues on which he now advises and trains clients. He also has completed accredited coursework on instructional design and online learning. During law school, David was selected to represent Boston University in the NYU Moot Court Competition Team.
