3D WAVEFRONT CONTROL Trinity is the future of sound reinforcement. By giving users the ability to sculpt the sound field in all three dimensions, we are able to achieve precision and accuracy previously unobtainable. Trinity's patented technology provides engineers with a new set of tools to overcome the challenges they face on a daily basis by reducing setup times without compromising acoustic integrity. Trinity is the first tool that provides engineers with complete ability to control every aspect of the sound field. Trinity is the first of its kind - and we are excited for everyone to hear, and see, the entire system in action" - Jeremy Bridge, President & CEO
DATA SHEET version 1. 3D Wavefront Control Trinity is the first three-dimensionally controlled sound system that is configured remotely, capable of focusing sound exactly where it is intended. 3D Wavefront Control provides a completely new set of tools that equips advanced users with unparalleled control over digital signal processor (DSP) settings and the vertical and horizontal polar directivity of the entire array. Using Kontrol software coupled with electronic actuators housed in each loudspeaker, audio engineers are equipped to make adjustments to the line array remotely and instantly with the touch of a button. In contrast, traditional line array speaker systems have a fixed horizontal and vertical dispersion pattern, which cannot be changed once manufactured. Trinity has opened the door for audio engineers to have full control of the line array at all times, remotely or locally. CANADIAN OFFICE 43.42.64 BAY 133 2634 4 AVE SE, CALGARY ALBERTA, T2B 3M1
DATA SHEET version 1. Specifications The Coherent Midrange Integrator (CMI) seamlessly combines mid and high frequencies, coupled with precisely spaced low frequency apertures for smooth and controlled directivity. The CMI waveguide is variably adjustable from -1 both symmetrically and asymmetrically. The ability to focus the sound field increases long throw capability by increasing sensitivity of the loudspeaker. Dual horn loaded, rear vented, 12 transducers provide increased accuracy and output compared to traditional front loaded designs. Four 6 midrange transducers are coupled to a CMI waveguide through specifically designed phase plugs that increase sensitivity while ensuring seamless integration with high frequencies. Two coaxial high frequency compression drivers directly coupled to integrated planar waveguides dramatically reduce the waveguide length and internal diffraction significantly reducing distortion across the entire high frequency band. A 6w Class D amplifier maximizes headroom while maintaining crystal clear audio and providing exceptional output. PK s Kontrol software provides full remote control of all DSP functions as well as the vertical and horizontal directivity of the array. This allows the array to be flown straight significantly reducing setup time and allows adjustment any array characteristic after it has been flown. Upon discovery the software communicates with each module and automatically arranges modules into the proper position in each array removing the time consuming process of manually arranging elements. The software provides real time feedback of key module parameters during show operation giving users a simple and intuitive interface to monitor system operation. Local control on each module allows access to key functionality without the need for a network providing flexibility in setup. The weatherproof amplifier plate and interconnects ensure consistent performance in demanding outdoor conditions without the need for additional protection. Trinity s Auto-Align rigging is remotely adjustable from -. in.1 increments and is specifically designed to simplify the module connection process during array suspension. The unique rigging system reduces time and increases safety by removing cumbersome rigging links. The tapered rigging system automatically aligns when lowered to allow quick release pins to be inserted with ease. To further reduce setup time the system stacks efficiently on carts four high with the flybar and with interconnect cables remaining attached and protected during transport. DATA SHEET version 1. Remotely Adjustable in 3 Dimensions Trinity uses electronic actuators located in each loudspeaker module to mechanically control the horizontal and vertical directivity of the array by changing the shape of the array as well as the directivity of each individual module. The embedded systems in each module which control the actuation system are connected over a UDP network, allowing a computer with proprietary software to remotely access the internal functions of each module and provide safety and DPS functions. Three-dimensional control of the sound field directivity is achieved through the combination of the two subsystems. Adjustment in the Y-Z plane is accomplished by curving the array and adjustment in the X-Z plane by changing the horizontal directivity of the module. Adjustment of the vertical directivity of the array is accomplished through the rigging system where linear actuators on each side of the array are used to change the inter-module angles. This allows the system to be remotely and continuously adjusted with.1 accuracy after the array has been flown. Adjustment in the horizontal plane is achieved through actuation of the CMI waveguide which controls the directivity of the mid and high frequency sections. The waveguide is capable of adjustment from 1 to in increments both symmetrically and asymmetrically. DATA SHEET version 1. Horizontal Directivity Trinity provides 2 individual horizontal directivity options that can be arranged in any order in the array and fine-tuned on the fly to make meaningful changes. This flexibility allows users to change the directivity of the system to suit any number of audience configurations in a multitude of different venues. A specifically designed combination of FIR and IRR filters ensure a smooth and consistent frequency response at every point in the sound field. - - - - -3 - - - Standard/Extended L6 R6 - -3 1 8 L4 R4 6 L6-R - - - - -3 L6-R4 L6-R3 L6-R2 L3 R3 L-R6 L-R4 L-R3 - - - - -3 L-R2 L4-R6 L4-R L4 R3 L4-R3 L4-R2 L3-R6 - - - - L3-R L2-R L3-R4-3 L6 R2 L3-R2 L2-R4 L2-R6 - - - - -3 CANADIAN OFFICE 43.42.64 BAY 133 2634 4 AVE SE, CALGARY ALBERTA, T2B 3M1
