In this class we will be texturing and shaping wire, attaching a bezel and charm, and finishing to create three rings that will be uniquely yours. Instructor: Tracy Stanley Class $45 Sat May 26 11am - 5pm Adding color to a piece has always intrigued me.but I am not someone that likes a lot of high tech fussing. Using colored pencils is a great way to achieve unique one of a kind patterns to your pieces. The best part is you don t need to have drawing skills to be successful! After learning all the techniques to applying the color, we will explore different pieces that you can make with it!

Well this class is designed small so that up to 4 students can come and we will focus on adding to your skills. Most often there is only time to learn and finish one new skill in class, so this class may be one where you come several times over the year. If you have a project in mind we can work on that too. The instructor will have heat safe CZs for sale and clay of course. If you decide to bring your own CZs make sure you check the color safe tables we will fire at 1650 degrees for 2 hours many of the CZs won t keep their color at that temperature so be sure to check first. Bezel 3 Ways in PMC Class $195 Usage Fee $20 /Advanced Sat & Sun June 9 & 10 10am - 6pm both days Everyone loves a cabochon in silver. In this class you will learn to set stones with PMC that you cannot fire. Bring your own cabochons to set. (You will need 2 for the larger projects.) If you want to set cabochons in bezel cups, I will have sets that match for sale. If you want to purchase your own, make sure your bezel cups are fine silver and that your stones fit in them. If you bring your own clay be sure it is PMC 3, PMC Plus or PMC Flex only. This is an awesome class and you will love what you create. Don t forget to bring your apron, tools and lunch. Limit 4 students PMC and Sterling Silver Posts Class $90 Usage Fee $15(includes SS Posts) /Advance Sun June 3 10am - 6pm Many people really prefer post earrings to other types so here is the class for you. We will make earring fronts using traditional PMC techniques with the torch and you can explore using and making molds to create your earring faces. Please bring fast acting mold compounds and your objects to make a mold of if you d like to learn this approach. Buttons and charms also make good molds and Bird Tail Beads has some for sale. I will have several molds in class for you to use but I will not have molding compound. Please bring your clay, tools, apron and lunch. Ask for supply list. Limit 6 students PMC3 & Gold Class $90 Gold/Usage Fee $50 /Advanced Sat Jun 2 10pm - 6pm Silver & Gold what a great combination. This class will teach you how to add 22k gold slip on your unfired piece & a technique called Keum-Boo on a fired piece. This is an expensive medium, so I suggest you practice your basic skills prior to adding gold to your piece. Having said that, adding the gold to your Silver pieces is fun and not that difficult. I think Pythagoras and Plato would smile to see what their understanding of geometry has inspired in the 21st century. The magical structure of the dodecahedron allows for 5 sided beaded shapes to gain strength when stitched together. Create a magical ball by adding a bell, and lettered beads (spelling your intention) to the inside before closing the structure. Animal Print/Free Form Textured Peyote Bracelet Instructor: Ellen Perrin Class $40 Sun May 20 12pm - 4pm This design takes the basics of the Textured Peyote Bracelet and shows you how to go wild with it for an interesting variation and more elaborate embellishing and edging. You should be comfortable with even count 2-drop peyote and stitch in the ditch embellishment to get the most from this class. You will not complete this project in class.
