BLACK HUNTER Digital RF detector SEL SP-75 Operating manual Moscow 2005
Digital RF detector SEL SP-75 Black Hunter was designed on the basis of the modern digital technologies using the microprocessor that supports the algorithm providing the instant location of any transmitter in the close zone, as well as mobile phones of GSM, DAMPS and DECT standards. To avoid breakdown of the detector it is PROHIBITED to: - open the detector and repair it by yourself; - allow a penetration of liquids inside the detector; - allow an exposure of the detector to atmospheric precipitation when using it outdoors. (If nevertheless this happened, dry out the generator with open cover at the room temperature during at least 4 hours). 1. Description and operation of the generator 1.1 Application The detector has 4 operation modes: 1. Search mode with audible and light indication. 2. Pulse transmitters search mode (search for mobile phones, digital eavesdropping devices). 3. Acoustic feedback mode. 4. Watchdog mode. Distinctive features: - usability; - smallest dimensions; - without external antenna. 1.2 Technical specifications. Main characteristics 1. Operation frequencies range, not less 100 3000 MHz 2. Devices localized: Radio transmitters... with standard types of modulation and special (digital) Mobile telephones. GSM-900/1800/1900, DAMPS, DECT 3. Sensitivity, not less....... 100 mv/m 4. The search distance, not less Radio transmitter 5 mw...... 5 m * Mobile telephone GSM of standard power (100 mw ): in normal sensitivity mode......2 m * in heightened sensitivity mode.. 20 m * - away from radio transmitters 5. Dimensions...... 77х47х5 mm 2

Proper use 2.1 Pre-starting procedure Open the battery section on the detector s side and place in a battery. Attention! DO NOT permit polarity mistake this might result in the detector s breakage! + battery polarity should up sided. 2.2 Switching ON Press ON/OFF button to switch the detector ON. MODE LED indicator with beep signal will inform you about successful starting. 2.3 Mode changing Press MODE button to choose needed searching mode: MODE indicator is lighting continuously searching mode with visual and sound indication; MODE indicator is frequently blinking - pulse transmitters search mode (search for mobile phones, digital bugs). MODE indicator is blinking with 3 seconds delay on duty mode (allows keeping the detector with optimal sensitivity level and battery saving mode sound indication is turned off); 3
ACOUSTIC indicator is lighting - acoustic feedback mode is on. This mode provides for radio microphone detection in 0.5 m distance. 2.4 Searching and acoustic feedback modes When using search modes, first set the minimal indication level (maximum sensitivity) by double press of sensitivity adjusting buttons, and then move around the investigated room. Having noticed the maximum indication level, settle the sensitivity again (low the sensitivity). By repeating these steps you can locate a secretly installed transmitter. When local maximum of unknown radio radiation is observed, it is possible to turn the detector to acoustic feedback mode (for analogue signals) - a whistle sound shows that it s working radio microphone (a bug). 2.5 On-duty mode Turning to the on duty mode should be taken place in a room which doesn t have any unknown radio transmitting devises, at that you should reduce sensitivity to minimum in searching mode and turn the detector to on duty mode and wait (about 1 min) till the first LED of the signal level s scale (marked NORM) will be blinking together with blinking ON/OFF indicator. Appearance of any radio transmitting devise will turn the detector to visual indication to show signals level (sound alarm is off). When a radio signal is vanished, the detector comes back to the on duty mode. 2.6 Low battery indication Low battery indicator is provided to inform about the time to replace a battery. 3. Warranty 3.1 The warranty period of the device is 12 months from the sale date. For guarantee service please apply to the manufacturer: Suritel, 5 ul.
