Keep all glue caps, marker caps, cotton, foam pieces, and other small items out of reach of children who are age 3 or under, as they are a choking hazard. Use nontoxic washable markers only. Watch young children when they are using crayons to be sure they don't put them into their mouths. Have an emergency plan in place in case of injury, ie., someone trained in First Aid procedures, emergency phone numbers on hand, etc.
Saving Tips To save money on printing, use a laser jet printer for the black and white pages. Print the color-illustrated pictures in color on an Inkjet picture. Then copy the pictures on a black-andwhite copier, or color copier, respectively. (I would advise against using pages printed from an inkjet printer for children's crafts directly, as these inks can come off. The chemicals in the inks are a safety concern. Make copies that are to be used for children's crafts on a copy machine instead). If you have large classes, using copies of the black and white craft pages and having the children color them will save you money on color printer inks or color copies. Save on stickers by copying the sticker pages onto regular paper (white or colors) and letting the children make the stickers by using restickable glue sticks, or repositionable glue sticks, instead of printing the sticker pages on inkjet sticker sheets. I believe these inkjet sticker sheets are treated with something to prevent the inks from rubbing off, but check with the manufacturer for safety concerns.
