Do not use the hot glue gun if it is damaged or parts are missing. Contact the manufacturer via the service centre listed in the "Warranty" chapter. Filling the gas tank (Fig. A) Caution! Danger of fire, burning and/or explosion! Switch off the hot glue gun by closing the gas supply regulator and ensure that the flame is off. Allow the hot glue gun to cool completely. Fill the tank in a well ventilated place, in an area free of flames or sources of ignition and at a safe distance from others. Smoking is prohibited when filling the tank. Use only butane refill cartridges, for example commercially available cigarette lighter gas. Do not use pure isobutane or propanebutane mixes. Place the nozzle of the gas canister against the gas refill valve (6) and press it in. Use a suitable adapter if necessary. Take the nozzle of the gas canister out of the refill valve of the device before the gas begins to flow out. 5. Usage Lighting the hot glue gun (Fig. C) Push the gas supply regulator (4) upwards and turn it to the right using your thumb until the valve is completely open. Now press the piezo ignition (9) immediately. Look through the inspection glass (11) to see if the hot glue gun has ignited successfully. If yes, the heating chamber will be glowing red. The brightness may vary slightly depending on the level of the gas in the tank and depending on the quality of the gas used. DANGER! In case the hot glue gun does not ignite successfully after numerous five attempts, close the gas supply regulator immediately to stop the gas flow and refer to the "Troubleshooting" chapter. 1 Gas supply open Inspection glass 3 2 Ignition Note! Risk of damage! Always switch off the hot glue gun and place it on the integrated stand even during short breaks. Never use the hot glue gun for more than 30 minutes. After this, allow the hot glue gun to cool down completely before using it again. 09

Gluing applications Before gluing The surfaces to be glued must be clean, dry and free of grease. Clean the gluing surfaces before applying the glue if necessary. Polished or shiny surfaces should be roughened before gluing. Gluing Note! Practice before you start working with the glue gun. Carry out trials on waste material. The correct amount of glue and the feed rate for each application depend on the size and properties of the materials you wish to glue and can only be determined by carrying out trials. Insert a glue stick into the glue port as described above. Press the trigger (7) to move the glue stick into the heating chamber. Allow the heating chamber and the glue stick to heat up for 2-3 minutes until the glue melts. Press the trigger to apply glue to the gluing surface. After gluing After applying glue, bring the workpieces together and press them firmly. Use a clamp or similar fixture if required. The clamping fixture can be removed after about 5 minutes. Allow any surplus glue to cool down completely and subsequently remove it with a knife. 6. After finishing work Note! Risk of damage! After completing the work, switch off the hot glue gun and press the trigger repeatedly to completely use up any residue of the glue stick that may be present, thus emptying the heating chamber. Place the hot glue gun on the integrated stand and allow it to cool completely. 10
