What is Carbide? Carbide abrasive tools can be used on all materials Carbide is the name of our company. But it is also the name of sintered tungsten an extremely hard metal having approx. 98% of the hardness of an industrial diamond. Tungsten is used in many industrial applications, for example to make drill bits for the oil industry, and lathing and milling tools for the metal and woodworking industries. We use a granulated tungsten product small sharp grains of metal which we then evenly solder onto a steel plate. This combination gives an extremely powerful abrasive tool with an incredibly long life. And unlike sandpaper, carbide discs stay cleaner and rarely clog up. Material build-up is easily removed using a steel brush or solvent. In terms of versatility, Carbide products completely take the place of sandpaper, steel brushes and Carborundum stone. Our products are available in standard grits 3, 6, 10,, 60, 80, 120, 180 and 240. Manufacture All Carbide abrasive tools are manufactured at our factory in Dongguan in southern China. Most of the manufacturing process is done by hand, ensuring the optimum quality of our tools with a precise grain count and uniform abrasive surface. Manufacturing in China means highly competitive prices for our customers and considerable flexibility in production process. All our workers in production pay careful attention to detail, allowing Carbide to manufacture products that have impressed our customers as well as our competition. cement plaster drywall fillers limestone concrete tile and clinker marble paint and varnish wool felt linoleum carpet backing epoxy plastic and acrylic PVC wood rust and paint on metal 4

Complies with industry standards Lasts 150 times longer that sandpaper Power tools Power tools are often needed for jobs that require True Grit power. Carbide s grinding discs and accessories are therefore the perfect counterpart for power tools like an angle grinder. Their solid metal surface makes these abrasive products extremely resistant to tearing and clogging common problems with sandpaper discs and their durability surpasses by far that of competing products. We have developed three different discs, each in three different sizes 115 mm, 125 mm and 180 mm in various grits to meet all grinding needs. At the request of our customers we have developed a series of abrasive accessories for orbit sanders, sheet sanders and delta sanders. A Carbide sanding disc coated with tungsten abrasive and mounted on a power sander is a tool second to none in terms of power and performance. Jobs which in the past required chemicals, scrapers or just plain giving up no longer pose a problem. Carbide tools easily remove all types of surface material, such as paint and varnish from doors and tables, and plaster and tile cement from walls and showers.
