Technology Transfer is based on the need of collaboration between universities & companies Universities are producers and suppliers of skilled personnel They are an important source of innovation in the high technology sectors They can help companies to gain a competitive advantage

The necessity of cooperation between Universities & Companies leads Universities to assume a new role From research intensive universities, based on research and innovation, to become entrepreneurial universities meeting the needs of researchers, companies and society

The Technology Transfer Office (TTO) Is the department that deals with the exploitation of research results TTO is part of the organizational structure of AUTH s Research Committee It operates since June 2011 10
