WELCOME Welcome to the pack for the Gal Hallouw s Eve Campaign Day at Warhammer World. This event is all about having a great time playing some fantastic games of Warhammer Age of Sigmar in a narrative setting against some like minded opponents. Designed for players of all ages and abilities, Campaign Days are perfect ways to meet new players, see some great armies and spend a day indulging in your hobby. THE DEAD HORDE Deep in the Realm of Death, it is approaching a most feared time. Every 100 years or so (by the Sigmarite calendar), the moon above Shyish grows larger large enough to blot out the horizon and the winds of magic blow stronger than ever before. It is said that on one such night as this some millennia past, the dread Necromancer Gal Hallouw, cursed the land and those that lay in deathly slumber beneath it. Since that fateful eve, every 100 years, the ground bursts forth and the bodies of the slain rise once more to feed on the flesh of the living. Bands of adventurers go forth on this night to cleanse the land of the unliving and seek their fortunes. They risk life and limb in doing so, but eternal glory shall be theirs... YOUR ARMY In order to attend this event, you ll need to bring with you a collection of miniatures and all of the Warscrolls you need to use them in the game. Your games will be an hour and a half long, so bring enough miniatures to play for that long. You will be expected to have a quick chat with your opponent before deployment takes place to roughly balance your forces ensuring you both have a fun game. There is one restriction we ask you to abide by in your games, just for the duration of this event: You may bring as many models as you like: select up to 35 models of your choice for each game. Your models do not need to be fully painted for this event, but there will be some Campaign bonuses available for those players who manage to fully paint and base their force. GAMES During the Campaign Day, you will get to play 3 games against a randomly determined opponent, each game lasting up to one and a half hours. At the end of the game, we will ask you to record two things: result of the game (eg, Major Victory, Minor Victory, Draw or Loss) and how many of Gal Hallouw s Zombies you managed to kill (all explained below!). The Events Team will hand you a results slip; fill in the results and hand it in at the end of each game. THE DEAD RISE AGAIN! On this dreadful night in the Realm of Death, the rotting corpses of the recently deceased rise again to hunt the living.... Whenever an entire unit of yours is destroyed, place the miniatures to one side. At he beginning of your next Hero Phase, the unit rises again as a unit of Gal Hallouws Zombies (Warscroll at the end of this pack). Start the unit in base contact with any terrain piece on the table, and move them as normal. This new unit is identical in size to the unit it used to be. (5 Liberators become 5 zombies, a Bloodthirster becomes 1 zombie and so on...) Place a marker or coin next to the unit to indicate they are now Gal Hallouws Zombies instead of whatever unit they used to be. If a unit of Gal Hallouws Zombies is slain, they are once again replaced with another identical unit exactly as described above...they just keep coming back! CAMPAIGN BONUSES We know how much of a challenge painting an army can be, so we will reward any players who have managed to get all their models fully painted and based with an additional 30 Zombie Kills which will obviously go a long way to helping you win the Campaign!
WINNING THE CAMPAIGN Every warband is looking to seek glory on Gal Hallouws Eve. To do so, you must kill as many Gal Hallouws Zombies as you possibly can. The winner of Campaign will be the player who managed to destroy the most Gal Hallows zombies during the course of the day, so make sure you keep a record during your games of how many you killed and record it on the results slips given out on the day. BEST ARMY COMPETITION During Game 1, the Events Team will look at each army and select a number they feel are the best presented at the event. We will ask the owning players to display them during lunch, and ask the rest of the players to vote for their favourite. The player who receives the most votes will earn the Best Army prize at the Award Ceremony FAVOURITE OPPONENT VOTES At the end of the event, we will ask each player to fill out a Favourite Opponent slip to let us know who you most enjoyed playing against. The players that receive the most votes will receive the Most Sporting Opponent prize at the end of the event. To show how much we value getting these votes, each player who makes a vote for one of his or her opponents will receive an additional 10 Zombie Kills. THE AWARD CEREMONY At the end of the event, we will take the time to recognise the achievements of some of the players, as well as, of course, revealing which Faction has won the day. We will be awarding the following prizes: Most Sporting Opponent for the player who earns the most Favourite Opponent votes. Best Army for the player who receives the most votes in the Best Army competition. The Zombie Hunter to the player who kills the most of Gal Hallouws zombies over the day.
