Agenda Introduction Earth Observation Data Education and Mass Training International Cooperation National Systems of Instruments, Facilities and Databases Wrap-up

Introduction CONAE Space Agency created in 1991 CONAE has the mission of proposing and executing a National Space Program, which is a strategic plan for the space activities and constitutes a government policy of national priority. Main Goals: Earth Observation. Exploration and peaceful use of Outer Space. Technological developments for space use.

Introduction CONAE In Space

Earth Observation Data Catalogue of Earth Observation Data Products Several dozens of different products generated daily Cooperation from all the scientific and technical agencies

Earth Observation Data Level 1, 2, 3 productos available for any user

Earth Observation Data Specific products developed to fulfill local users requirements SAC-D/Aquarius Soil Moisture Product.

Earth Observation Data GeoPortal GeoWarnings Layer of information provided from projects of CONAE and local partners.

Education and Mass Training 2Mp seeks to use and know these tools through the school, and then transfer it to other areas of their life or to their professional field. The aim of this line of action, Massive Education and Training to users, is to transfer the knowledge and space technologies to the whole society so as those technologies may be used as a source of information that enables (as a consequence of the combination with other information) the enhancement and optimization of the activities developed both in the educational and socioproductive scope. SoPI is a national software development that seeks to accompany students and users in the incorporation of the potential of satellite images and geospatial technologies to their professional and educational activities.

International Cooperation For Astronomical Applications Deep Space Antenna of the European Space Agency was installed in Argentina in 2012. 10% of the operative time is available for Argentinean scientific projects. On-going projects for radioastronomical observations.

International Cooperation For Astronomical Applications Deep Space Antenna installed in Argentina to support the Chinese Moon Exploration Program. Operative in 2018. 10% of the operative time is available for Argentinean scientific projects.

International Cooperation For Astronomical Applications International Scientific Optical Network (ISON) Proyect The initiative was possible from a cooperation agreement between the Keldysh Institute of Applied Mathematics of the Russian Academy of Sciences (KIAM RAS),CONAE, IATE (UNC-OAC-Conicet) and the government of the Province of Salta. The project includes in the first stage 3 small telescopes for tracking and discovering space debris, asteroids and comets.

National Systems National Systems Initiative The programme of National Systems gathers large equipments, facilities and databases of diverse areas of interest for the science community and which are registered in a public body heritage. The programme operates in a network and in a coordinated fashion making this information available to researchers. It also provides funding support to ensure it is continually updated. It is an initiative of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Productive Innovation.

National Systems National Digital Repository Open Access to scientific-technological production: users can read, download, print, search or link complete text of scientific articles. 40 national centers provide information to the System. 89348 digital objects available through the SNRD Portal http://repositoriosdigitales.mincyt.gob.ar

Wrap-up CONAE as the Argentine Space Agency, is a space data provider, mainly oriented to Earth Observation. Education and Mass Training Programs. International cooperation, astronomical use of Deep Space Antennas, ISON. Digital Repositories for science.
