Mostly due to the global recession of 2008 and competition from large discount stores, the need to evolve had arrived. So, SAWHORSE pulled its self-up from its boot straps and began to produce specialty items in a trying market. The goal was to manufacture numerous products with a high utility that would allow our retailers good margins while taking up very little store or counter space. This allowed SAWHORSE to maintain its relationship with the small retailers from East to West that it had come to rely on. SAWHORSE realizes its success depends on the ability to meet its retailers demands in a challenging environment.
