About the Artist Jen Allyson: Growing up, the drive to create was always foremost in my life. I was constantly tinkering with scissors, paper, fabric, sewing machines, boxes etc. You name it and I tried to make something out of it. This creative expression became the hallmark of my youth, schooling, and eventually career. My daily life revolves around either creating art or seeking inspiration by surrounding myself with beautiful things and experiences. I have been designing and illustrating within the arts and crafts industry since 2002, cultivating a personal style as well as creative directing many various other styles. I primarily design fabric, craft paper, party supplies, stamps, and stickers. More than anything else, I love to see what other creative individuals make with the items that I design. I currently reside in Utah and am so blessed to have two fabulous little boys who love to draw, paint, and create right next to me. My Mind s Eye was launched in 1999 by artist Marcia Cornell, who created a hand-illustrated line of coordinating scrapbooking products. The designs were immediately popular and set off a series of successes for the company. Adding layers of sophistication and style to their offerings over the next few years, My Mind s Eye gained a solid position among the core designers and producers of scrapbooking and papercrafting products. Alongside the continued popularity of their printed products, their award-winning designs have jumped off the printed page to be seen in home decor and fabrics.
