Headboards have smooth rounded corners and edges, these are melamine faced MDF which are easy to wipe and keep clean.
INDI STRUCT High Dependency Solutions The INDI STRUCT High Dependency Solutions range was developed for extremely challenging environments. Originally developed with the Prison Service for use in some of their soft cell environments. This range does not have any doors or drawers to completely remove obvious ligature risks.

All bedroom units have cut out handles as standard whereas the living range items are all fitted with finger pull design handles which are secured using anti tamper fixings. The INDI STRUCT drawer system is by far the strongest available on the current market. The drawer box and base is made from 18mm thick melamine faced MDF which is then mounted on extremely heavy duty steel roller runners rated to 100kg. These drawers are fixed so they cannot be removed without the aid of security tooling. With the various cabinet options available including sideboards, secure TV cabinets, weighted tables, display units with polycarbonate viewing panels it is easy to find the right items to create that homely environment that is so important to the well being and rehabilitation needs of those being cared for.
Secure Living TV units have been developed to house modern televisions, DVD players and games stations. These items can be locked safely away from risk of abuse without reducing viewing quality. Available in 3 different cabinet sizes which will house most modern day TVs. Each unit is fitted with its framed 6mm thick scratch resistant polycarbonate viewing panel, polycarbonate is rated to be up to 200 times stronger than its equivalent in glass.

INDI STRUCT Bedroom The INDI STRUCT Bedroom Range meets the demands of most challenging environments while its design and finish helps to allow you to create the homely feel that is so important for a residents care and rehabilitation. A wide variety of unit options will allow you to maximise storage facilities without overcrowding the room. There are 3 different hinge options available on the wardrobes depending upon your requirements these include standard 270 degree hinges, piano/strip hinges and our extremely heavy duty INDI270 hinges which are a strip hinge that allows the doors to open 270 degrees. All of the units have scooped out handles as standard and wherever possible all corners and edges have been rounded and smoothed off to reduce obvious risks of injury. All of the units have 18mm thick solid backs allowing them to be wall secured very easily without the need for extra brackets or ties. To help to reduce climbing there is the option of sloping top sections that can easily be retro fitted to wardrobes even after it has been installed and wall fixed.
Wardrobe Hinge Features Standard 270 degree opening all metal hinges, 3 per door on wardrobes and 2 per door on gents robes The INDI 270 wardrobes, have all of the standard design features of the anti ligature wardrobe but with the added benefit of extremely heavy duty strip hinges that are made especially for us. These hinges have all of the advantages of a standard strip hinges but these allow the doors to be opened back 270 degrees and fold flat against the wardrobe sides. This greatly increases the resistance to abuse. The hinge is fixed to the door using anti tamper screws which are fastened into the edge and faced of the door as well as the edge and face of the wardrobe end. The anti ligature wardrobes are designed to minimise obvious ligature risks while maintaining the simple smooth design. Some of the features included are the sloping doors, and heavy duty piano/strip hinges which are fitted using anti ligature clothes shelf with groove to allow the use of cardboard hangers, cut out handles and soft rounded corners on the tops of the units
High Dependency Solutions :Beds Box Bed Available in 3ft & 4ft widths, all beds take a standard 6ft 3in long mattress. 18mm Melamine faced MDF with internal reinforcing linings, the bed also has a fully secured bottom panel to eliminate all potential concealment areas. This bed can also be fixed to the floor if required. Smooth rounded corners to the head and foot boards. Beds are delivered in two sections which are then easily fastened together. Cabin bed with sliding door storage Cabin beds have sliding doors which are trenched and located into extruded strips for maximum strength yet still retaining an easy sliding action. The bed base is mounted onto reinforcing linings and then secured. All protruding corners have been given smooth rounded edges. Due to the size and weight of this bed and depending upon your access restrictions this bed may need to be delivered with some components separate then be fitted once in its location
