It differs from the standard Indus guideline in a number of ways. This includes: 1. There is no ROI step. Instead the area of capture is set to a sufficiently large area (500mm x 500mm or close to the size of the front book cradle). This area is large enough to capture dimensions of any program. After scanning, a Photoshop script is applied to batch crop and straighten all page images. 2. A custom Job function is used to allow repeated scans to be initiated directly from the foot pedal rather than the software interface. The job function is defined per project and this setup should not be edited. The job settings file (SSM.dat) is stored on the harddrive under the folder Scans/SSM and should not be moved or deleted using Windows Explorer but only through the PROview software interface.
