4 en Short information PAVIRO End Of Line Slave 1 Short information The End Of Line (EOL) Slave monitors the integrity of a loudspeaker line. In combination with the EOL master, integrated in every Controller and Router of the PAVIRO system, the loudspeaker line can be monitored against short-circuit or opencircuit. The status LED of the module can help to check the installation. Please refer to the documentation of IRIS-Net or the Controller/Router for more details. PAVIRO End Of Line Slave Installation en 5 2 Installation Before connecting the module, a module address must be set via the DIP switches S2 and S1 (see following illustration). The module address allows for identification of the affected loudspeaker line in case an error (e.g. open-circuit) occurred. 1 2 Figure 2.1: Location of the DIP switches ➊ and the Status LED ➋ at the module Notice! PAVIRO End Of Line Slave Technical data en 11 Notice! Depending on the audio route, the EOL modules might be in parallel with an amplifier channel. The capacitance for any EOL module that might be in parallel to one (amplifier) channel must be added to the total capacitance. Ensure that the worst case situation does not exceed the maximum allowed capacitance. A capacitance calculator to check if the capacitance is in the safe zone and an additional application note can be found on the Bosch Security website.
