Advanced Setup Instructions I. Custom Colors Refer to the attached Color Chart to identify the RGB values for your desired custom color. 1. Press MENU repeatedly until U shows on the display. 2. Press ENTER 3. Use the UP and DOWN buttons to select a color to change (red = r, g = green, b = blue). 4. Press ENTER 5. Use the UP or DOWN button to select the desired color value between 000-100. (Note: Selecting 000 will turn the color off). 6. Press ENTER to continue to the next color. 7. Repeat steps 3 6 until you create your desired color. 8. Press ENTER to save the color. *Note: To use one of the 7 pre-set colors, refer to the Easy Setup Instructions. II. Advanced Mode Options Sound Active Mode 2. Press the MENU button repeatedly until P shows on the display. 4. Presss the UP or DOWN buttons until P5 or P6 shows on the display. **NOTE: Select P5 for uplight to cycle through 7 colors; select P6 for uplight to cycle through 3 colors. 5. Press ENTER. 6. Turn on music and adjust the microphone sensitivity knob until the uplight starts reacting to beat of the music. (See uplight diagram in Appendix). *Note: The uplight will only respond to low frequencies of the music (bass and drums). Color Switching / Fading Modes 2. Press the MENU button repeatedly until P shows on the display. 4. Press the UP or DOWN buttons until P1, P2, P3, or P4 shows on the display. P1: Color Switching 7 Colors P2: Color Fading 7 Colors P3: Color Switching 3 Colors P4: Color Fading 3 Colors 5. Press ENTER. 6. Press the MENU button repeatedly until S shows on the display. 7. Use the UP or DOWN buttons to adjust the color changing speed. S001: Slowest S100: Fastest 8. Press ENTER.

III. Advanced Control Options Master/Slave Mode with DMX Cables This mode allows a single uplight (the master ) to control up to 31 other uplights (the slaves ). By selecting a color and mode on one uplight, all of the other uplights will automatically be setup the same way. You can easily change the color or mode for all uplights throughout the event using a single menu button. All you need to use this option are DMX cables, which are available for rent for an additional small fee. Slave Units: 2. Press MENU repeatedly until 3-CH or 7-CH shows on the display. *3-CH: Allows you to change between three colors (red, green, and blue) *7-CH: Allows you to change colors, speeds, and modes. 4. Use the UP or DOWN buttons to select d001 5. Press ENTER. 6. Connect the uplights together using the DMX cables. 7. Repeat these steps for up to 31 uplights. Master Unit: 2. Press the MENU button repeatedly until P shows on the display. 4. Press the UP or DOWN buttons until P1, P2, P3, P4, P5, or P6 shows on the display.
