Presenters Charlie Anderson Chief Executive Officer TruckTel Ltd Charlie Anderson founded TruckTel in 2013, after winning a business program with the Santander Banking Group. Since then, Charlie has lead TruckTel s developments across Europe, North America and Asia. TruckTel works in collaboration with Willis Towers Watson and is headquartered in the Willis Building in the City of London. John J. Clark Principal and Founder PCI Services, LLC John is the Principal and Founder of PCI Services, LLC, established in 2010, a business consultancy firm with a mission to provide small to mid-size businesses with sustainable solutions that positively affect growth and protect interests. PCI Services provides solutions that help both owners and investors ensure continued, sustainable success and the ability to achieve both operational and financial goals. John has served as an Executive for both public and private domestic and international businesses. His responsibilities have included implementing risk and loss mitigation strategies, governmental compliance initiatives, business assessment and control functions and the implementation of corporate governance practices. Prior to his business roles, John held various positions with local and federal law enforcement agencies and is a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. While serving his country John earned degrees from the US Air Force Air University and Community College of the Air Force, earning a BS in Criminal Justice Administration and an AS in Industrial Security Management. Jim Conway Executive Director Express Delivery and Logistics Association Jim Conway has been the Executive Director of the Express Delivery and Logistics Association (XLA) since April of 2009. The XLA focuses on the expedited, premium smaller package sector of the global air cargo market. Jim previously was the Vice President and Counsel for the Direct Marketing Association in Washington D.C. He also was with Siemens Corporation for -3-
Presenters 14 years most notably as the company s Chief Legislative Counsel also in Washington. He began his career as a labor relations attorney with Gulf Oil Corporation in Houston. Eric Kready, CPP Intelligence Manager FreightWatch International Supply Chain Intelligence Center Eric Kready has served in various operations positions for FreightWatch International, including program management, field operations, and cargo theft intelligence. Eric is a retired Military Police Officer with more than 20 years of global military police operations experience. Prior to FreightWatch, he served in an array of capacities ranging from Airborne Military Police Company Commander to NATO Military Police Plans and Operations Officer to Police Investigations Senior Advisor to various foreign forces. He holds a Master s degree in Security Management from Webster University, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Penn State. Pete Mento Principal Ryan LLC Pete Mento is Principal of Ryan Tax LLC s Customs and Global Trade Practice. In this role he manages the recovery and avoidance of global duties and VAT for importers all over the world. Mr. Mento is a Customs House Broker, Foreign Relations Expert and Trade Academic. In his last appointment he was responsible for all Customs Operations globally for C.H. Robinson. Pete is considered to be one of the world s leading experts on International Trade Policy and Supply Chain Security. He is also an often quoted source on the development of the U.S. and Global Economy and the role that trade policy has played. Mento also served as the Principal Consultant of Expeditors Tradewin where he spent 7 years managing and leading the organization. He possesses a diversified background including major stints as a Merchant Marine Officer and appointments with AEI and Panalpina (in both the Freight Forwarding and Trade Services). Pete received his ALM in Government (Trade Theory Focus) from Harvard University and did his undergraduate work at Maine Maritime Academy where he served five consecutive terms as a member of the advisory board. -4-
Presenters Tony Pelli Supply Chain Risk Consultant, Supply Chain Solutions BSI America Professional Services, Inc. Tony Pelli is a Supply Chain Risk Consultant on BSI s Advisory team, working with a number of Fortune 500 companies to evaluate and quantify the risk of security problems, business continuity interruptions, and social responsibility compliance violations in the supply chain. Tony also spent one year on a rotation in BSI s office in Milton Keynes, United Kingdom, helping to launch and develop business for the SCS tools in EMEA. Tony has degrees in International Relations and History from the University of Georgia. Captain Alexander N. Soukhanov, AFNI Vice President, International Shipping and Maritime Operations United States Maritime Resources Center Alex is a Master Mariner and maritime pilot with extensive and diverse global operational experience. He is USMRC s Principal for special program development relating to maritime operational risk, cyber assurance, and supply chain security. Alex is also a serving Commander in the Navy Reserve with command experience. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marine Transportation from the Massachusetts Maritime Academy. George Wheeler Managing Director ICR360 George Wheeler is the Managing Director of ICR360, where he leads the development of the products and services offered by the ICR360 s online platform. Mr. Wheeler began his career as a Security Specialist in the United States Air Force. He was responsible for securing space shuttle and non-nuclear missile launch sites at Vandenberg AFB, nuclear launch sites at FE Warren AFB, WY and nuclear storage facilities, and multi- national aircraft at Incirlik AB, Turkey during Operation Desert Shield & Desert Storm. Wheeler has been recognized as a leader within every organization he has been a member. His 28 year security career has been very diverse and has given him a perspective for security that adds value and offers solutions that can be executed to make an immediate impact on an organization. -5-
