Repeat to make (2) lock Sevens total. 12. Sew (1) 2 ½ x 6 ½ Fabric strip, (1) 2 ½ x 6 ½ Fabric strip and (1) 2 ½ x 6 ½ Fabric strip together, in that order, lengthwise to make (1) lock ight (Fig. 14). Repeat to make (6) lock ights total. Roughly cut out each template about ⅛ outside the drawn lines. 14. ress each template onto the wrong side of the fabrics as listed on the templates. ut out each template on the drawn lines. 15. Refer to the quilt photo to arrange and press the (3) Fabric petals, (3) Fabric petals, (2) Fabric petals, (2) Fabric petals and (1) Fabric G flower center onto (1) 6 ½ Fabric F square to make (1) flower block. Repeat to make (4) flower blocks total. 16. Finish the raw edges of each shape with a decorative stitch such as a buttonhole or satin stitch to make (1) lock ine (Fig. 15). Repeat to make (4) lock ines total. F lock ine make 4 G 17. lace (1) 2 ½ Fabric square on the left side of (1) 2 ½ x 4 ½ Fabric strip, right sides together (Fig. 16). Sew across the diagonal of the square from the upper right corner to the lower left corner (Fig. 16). Flip open the triangle formed and press (Fig. 17). Trim away the excess fabric from behind the triangle, leaving a ¼ seam allowance.
