Design PEN is stitched with the colors listed.

Passport Holder Fabric: Two pieces 131/2 X 51/4 (We used teal.) and one 131/2 X 51/4 (We used a coordinating print.) both will be folded with right side out. Designs PSPRT1 and PSPRT2 are stitched with the colors listed. 1. Embroider PSPRT1 using the 131/2 X 51/4 (teal) piece of fabric folded with the right side out. Trim close to the outside stitch. 2. Embroider PSPRT2 using the 131/2 X 51/4 (print) piece of fabric folded with the right side out. The first and second color changes will be for applying the back piece of the holder. The fold will be to the top of the holder. 3. The third and fourth color changes will be for applying PSPRT1. The passport lettering will be the top. Photo Holder Fabric: Two pieces 51/4 X 71/4 (We used teal.) and two pieces 61/4 X 101/4 (We used a coordinating print.) that will be folded with right side out. Designs PHOTO1 and PHOTO2 are stitched with the colors listed. 1. Embroider PHOTO1 using two pieces 51/4 X 71/4 fabric. Trim close to the outside stitch. 2. Embroider PHOTO2 using the two pieces of 61/4 X 101/4 fabric folded with the right side out. The first and second color changes will be for applying the pockets of the holder. 3. The third and fourth color changes will be for applying PHOTO1.

Evening Bag and Purse (5 X 7 hoop) Fabric (We used black.): Four pieces 43/4 X 71/2 and one 8 X 83/4 that will be folded with right side out. Designs EVE1 and EVE2 are stitched with one color. Fabric: Four pieces 43/4 X 71/2 and one 8 X 83/4 that will be folded with right side out. Designs PURSE1 and PURSE2 are stitched with the colors listed. Cording, beads, crystals, etc. to add to the evening bag or purse. Evening Bag and Purse (Large hoop.) Fabric (We used brown.): Two pieces 83/4 X 71/2 and one 8 X 83/4 that will be folded with right side out. Design EVEBAG is stitched with one color. Fabric: Two pieces 83/4 X 71/2 and one 8 X 83/4 that will be folded with right side out. Design LHPUR is stitched with the colors listed. Cording, beads, crystals, etc. to add to the evening bag or purse.

For designs: PEN, SAFPEN, COIN, SAFCOIN, CELL, SAFCEL, SAFPRS, LHPUR, and EVEBAG. After the first tack down stitch trim the fabric close to the stitches. *Tape will help hold the fabric in place. Remove when trimming the fabric after the tack down stitch. *Wind bobbin with coordinating thread. Hoop two pieces water soluble stabilizer. After the second outline stitch lay the fabric on the stitched lines. After the first outline stitch lay the folded edge of fabric on the inside stitched line.

After the second tack down stitch trim the fabric close to the stitches. Trim the water soluble stabilizer. Embroider the remaining design. Rinse the stabilizer away. Lay flat to dry. Press. Add buttons, beads, etc..

For designs: PHOTO1 and PHOTO2. After the tack down stitch embroider the remaining design. *Tape will help hold the fabric in place. Remove when trimming the fabric after the tack down stitch. *Wind bobbin with coordinating thread. Stitch PHOTO1 (SAFFOT) first. Hoop two pieces water soluble stabilizer. Trim the sides of the fabric and water soluble stabilizer close to the outside stitches. After the first outline stitch lay the fabric for the cover on the stitched lines. Do not rinse the stabilizer away until the project is complete. Stitch PHOTO2 (SAFFOT2) next. Hoop two pieces water soluble stabilizer.

After the first outline stitch lay the folded edges of fabric to the inside of the stitched lines. After the second tack down stitch trim the fabric close to the stitches. Embroider the remaining design. After the first tack down stitch trim the fabric close to the stitches. Trim the water soluble stabilizer. After the second outline stitch lay the embroidered fabric on the stitched lines. Rinse the stabilizer away. Lay flat to dry. Press. Add buttons, beads, etc.

For designs: SAFPPT1, SAFPPT2, PSPRT1 and PSPRT2. After the tack down stitch embroider the remaining design. *Tape will help hold the fabric in place. Remove when trimming the fabric after the tack down stitch. *Wind bobbin with coordinating thread. Stitch PSPRT1 (SAFPPT1) first. Hoop two pieces water soluble stabilizer. Trim the sides and bottom of the fabric and water soluble stabilizer close to the outside stitches. After the first outline stitch lay the folded edge of the fabric on the top stitched line. Do not rinse the stabilizer away until the project is complete. Stitch PSPRT2 (SAFPPT2) next. Hoop two pieces water soluble stabilizer.

After the first outline stitch lay the folded edge of fabric on the top stitched line. After the second tack down stitch trim the fabric close to the stitches. Embroider the remaining design. Trim the water soluble stabilizer. After the first tack down stitch trim the fabric close to the stitches. Rinse the stabilizer away. Lay flat to dry. Press. Add buttons, beads, etc. After the second outline stitch lay the folded edge of the embroidered fabric on the stitched lines.

For designs: PURSE1, PURSE2, SAFPR1, SAFPR2, EVE1, and EVE2. Embroider the remaining design. *Tape will help hold the fabric in place. Remove tape when trimming the fabric after the tack down stitch. *Wind bobbin with coordinating thread. Stitch PURSE1 (SAFPR1 or EVE1) first. Hoop two pieces water soluble stabilizer. Trim the fabric and water soluble stabilizer around the outside stitches. Do not rinse the stabilizer away until the project is complete. Stitch PURSE2 (SAFPR2 or EVE2) next. Hoop two pieces water soluble stabilizer. After the first outline stitch lay the fabric on the stitched lines. After the tack down stitch trim the fabric close to stitches. The first color change will be the guide line to lay PURSE1 (SAFPR1 or EVE1). Lay the light column stitched edge along the stitch line with the pocket down. After the outline stitch lay the fabric on the stitched line. After the tack down stitch trim the fabric close to the stitches. Embroider the remaining design. Trim the water soluble stabilizer. Rinse the stabilizer away. Lay flat to dry. Press Add buttons, beads, etc.

Butterfly T-shirt Items you will need: Cut-away stabilizer Chalk wheel Design FL1669 1. Mark the center of the design on the T-shirt. 2. Hoop the T-shirt with cut-away stabilizer. 3. Embroider design. 4. Remove from hoop. Trim stabilizer close to design. Safari Tote Bag Items you will need: Cut-away stabilizer Chalk wheel Design WCA319 May have to open the side seam to embroider. 1. Mark the center of the design on the tote bag. 2. Hoop the tote bag with cut-away stabilizer. 3. Embroider design. 4. Remove from hoop. Trim stabilizer close to design.

Butterfly Backpack Items you will need: 1/2yd Fabric (We used floral print.) 1/4yd Fabric (We used teal.) 9 X 7 Fabric (We used stripe print.) Cut-away stabilizer Water soluble stabilizer 1 yard cording 3 of 1/8 elastic for the button Button Chalk wheel Designs FL1543 and FL1538 Use 1/4 seam to assemble backpack. 1. Cut fabric: Floral fabric, one 30 X 16 for backpack. Teal fabric, two 30 X 4 for the straps, two 5 X 6 for the flap. Stripe print fabric, one 9 X 7 for the pocket. 2. Straps: Fold the right sides together. Stitch. Turn right sides out. Press with the seam centered. Edge stitch both sides. Repeat. 3. Mark the center on one 5 X 6 piece of fabric for the flap. The 5 sides as the bottom and top. 4. Hoop the fabric with two pieces of cut-away stabilizer. 5. Embroider design. 6. Remove from hoop. Trim stabilizer close to design. 7. Lay the two 5 X 6 pieces of fabric right sides together. 8. Place the elastic in a loop on the 5 bottom side center. 9. Stitch the sides leaving an opening to turn right sides out. 10. Turn. Stitch opening closed. Press. 11. Mark the center on the 9 X 7 piece of fabric for the pocket. 12. Hoop the fabric with two pieces of cut-away stabilizer. 13. Embroider design. 17. Place the pocket in the center of the 30 X 16 floral piece of fabric 2 from the bottom (30 edges as the top and bottom). 18. Edge stitch the pocket in place. 19. Stitch the 16 sides of the floral piece of fabric with right sides together. 20. Center the back seam with the pocket center right sides together. 21. Stitch bottom seam. 22. Fold the top edge in 1/4. Stitch. 23. Cord drawstring opening: Place a 3/4 buttonhole centered in the front of the backpack. Have the top of the buttonhole start 11/4 from the top edge. 24. Fold the top edge in 11/4. Stitch 1 from the top edge, stitch 1/4 from the top edge. This will form the casing. 25. Place the strap on the bottom seam 3/4 from the point of the corner, pin in place. 26. Turn the bag in side out. Place the bottom seam and the side together. 27. Stitch 1 from the corner. This will form the bottom of the backpack. Repeat with other strap. 28. Turn right side out. 29. Run the cord through the casing on top of the backpack, make sure it is centered. 30. Place the straps with the inside edge of the straps on the center seam 1/2 from the top edge. Tack the straps in place. 31. Center the 5 X 6 flap over the straps. 32. Stitch the flap in place (use the seams that form the casing as a guide) the seam from the top to bottom will hold the cording in place. Top stitch al the way around the flap. 33. Add button to the front of the back pack 11/2 above the pocket. 14. Remove from hoop. Trim stabilizer close to design. 15. Turn top in 1. Stitch. 16. Turn side and bottom in 1/2.
