SIMPLE, YET INCREDIBLY POWERFUL NEW THE ADVENT OF SPOT CORRECTIONS FEATURES DxO introduces a new enhancement to its much-heralded Smart Lighting tool : Spot Weighted mode, which produces the nearly identical results as spot metering provides in camera, but with the added benefit of post-capture fine-tuning flexibility. DxO Smart Lighting now incorporates face detection to define a region of interest, then uses information from that area to help define an intelligent tone map that is then applied to the entire image.
