Step By Step Instructions for Registering Students Online In Skyward This guide will help you to register your students online in Skyward, Tri-Creek School Corporation s new student management system. Please note that this system is brand new to Tri-Creek and that while we have worked dilligently to ensure that the registration process is as smooth as possible you may run into issues with registering your child. If you do have any issues with the registration process please be patient and contact your child s school for assistance. Also, please note that in an effort to ensure the most up-to-date information possible from our families there is some information that you will need to re-enter such as parent contact info and emergency contacts. This information was not brought over from Harmony and will need to be re-entered to ensure it is up-to-date. Step - Please visit https://skyward.iscorp.com/scripts/wsisa.dll/wservice=wsedutricreekin/ fwemnu0.w to log in to register your student. Links to Skyward are also provided on the Tri-Creek School Corporation website and the individual school websites in the Parent section. You should have received a Skyward login ID and password reset information via email. Please ensure that you reset your password prior to registration. You will enter it in the area below marked (). If you did not receive a login ID or password please contact your child s school. Once you have entered the login ID and password please make sure Family/Student Access is selected from the Login Area at the bottom () and then click the Sign In button () If you are logging in for the first time you MAY be prompted to change your password if you have not already done so.

Step - You will be taken to the Dashboard page for the district. Click the Family Access button on the right side () Step - Next you will arrive at the Family Access section. From here you can register your student, view gradebook information, schedules, health information, and pay fees (). Please note that not all of this information is available at the time of registration and will be added in throughout the year. If you have more than one student at Tri-Creek School Corporation you will be able to view each student s information by clicking the arrow next to their name at the top of the screen (). You can move back and forth between your students using this arrow. During registration a notice has been placed in the center of the screen to remind you of which students have not been registered for school yet (). If you have more than one student you will see mutliple reminders. Click on your first student to start the registration process (4). 4

Step 4 - You will be taken to the first step in the process for registration. A list of all of the steps can be found on the right side of the screen (). As you complete each item you will see a checkmark next to it (). You can move back and forth between any of the items in any order but all items must be completed and checked to complete registration in the final step. Several of the items during the registration process will require you to click on them to view them (). These items will pop up in a new window allowing you to read the information, provide any necessary signatures/information, and then move on to the next step in the registration process (see below). Once you have read the information and given the information you will need to click the red I Have Completed This Step checkbox to move on (4).. Book Fees Agreement 04-05 Book Fees Agreement 04-05 4

If you have clicked on the I Have Completed This Step checkbox then you are ready to move on to the next step. You can click the Next Step button to take you to the next section of the registration form (). Step 5 - You will be taken to your students General Information area. There are several steps labeled A through F that must be completed (). Some of this information cannot be changed as it already entered by Tri-Creek staff. Any items with a star (*) are required. Items that have a question mark (?) next to them have additional information available about them that can be accessed by clicking on them (). Again, when you have completed the form please click the I Have Completed This Step checkbox () then you are ready to move on to the next step. You can click the Next Step button to take you to the next section of the registration form ().

You now have all of the basic information needed to navigate the remainder of the items on the registartion form. Please note that each school may require different forms/signatures depending on the services offered. There is a Close and Finish Later button at the bottom of each page that will allow you to return to the registration form later if additional information is needed. The registration system will retain any information you have already put in and will save your progress as you go. For the next few pages of this guide we will highlight a few of the areas that may require additional explanation and/or settings. Not all of the steps of the registration form will be covered but if you have any questions or require any assistance with completing the form or any items on it please contact your child s school for assistance. To skip to the end of the registration section and complete registration please go to Page 7 of this document. Section c - Verify Student Information: Family Information - In this section you will enter the information for a guardian or guardians for your child. You will need to include the Name, Relationship, Employer, and Home Email Address for the guardian (). Please make sure to click the Custodial checkbox () if you are a custodial guardian for the child. You can also add any phone numbers for the guardian (). If you see any additional guardians that should not be listed please contact the school.

Section e - Verify Student Information: Emergency Contacts - In this section you will enter the information for emergency contacts for your child. Please note that we can only list emergency contacts per student at this time. Please enter the guardians in the order that you would like them to be contacted (). You must select a relationship for the contact from the list (). If an emergency contact entered is already a Guardian for another student they will have to update their own information - you will not be able to change this (). Finally, make sure that you select whether or not this contact is allowed to pick the student up from school (4). 4

Section 4 - Complete Tri-Creek School Corporation Online Registration - Once you have completed all of the sections listed to the right of the screen and all have checkmarks next to them () you are ready to review your information. Please review all of the information listed. If any information was changed you will be notified that they are Pending Approval of the district (). This means that we will review the information and approve it before school starts. If we have questions or need to confirm a change we will contact you directly. If for some reason a change is denied by the district you will need to return to the online registration form and make the requested changes (). When you are ready to complete your registration and submit the registration click the Submit Tri-Creek School Corporation Online Registration button ().

You will receive a message that shows that registration was successfully completed. You can review the information that was submitted or go back and make changes if needed (). If you have additional students that you need to register you can do so using the triangle next to your child s name (). You will be asked to complete the same process for any additional students. At this point you have successfuly completed registration. If you are paying by check or another form of payment you do not need to do anything else in the online application and you will need to contact your child s school to arrange for payment. If you would like to pay fees for all of your students online via credit card click the Fee Management button () and continue to the next page of this guide.

Step By Step Instructions for Paying Fees For Students In Skyward Via Revtrak RevTrak is the credit card processing system used for paying student fees in Skyward. Registration is fast and easy and will allow you to pay for all of your students at one time in one transaction. You will be able to save your credit card on file for future transactions if you wish (this is not required.) In the future RevTrak will be enabled to allow parents to pay other school fees online as well, including yearbook and athletic fees. Step - From the Fee Management tab in Family Access you will see information about the fees listed for your child s schedule. You will see the unpaid balance owed (), a list of the fee descriptions and amounts charged for those fees (), and the amount due at this time (). When the fees are paid the amount due will change depending on how much is paid. If you have any questions about any fees listed please contact your child s school. When you are ready to make a payment click the Make A Payment link (4) 4

Step - You will be brought to the Online Payment Entry screen. If you have more than one student registering you should see all students listed here. You are able to make payments for all students at one time if you wish. At this point you will be selecting the amount you wish to pay at this time for fees. Click the Update Payment Amount button () to begin the process. Step - You will be brought to the Update Fee Management Payment Amount screen. In this section you will select the charges you will pay by clicking the check boxes in the Pay Charge column (). If you are making a partial payment of any of these items you can change them in the Pay Amount area (), otherwise they will show the full amount of the payment. Once you have selected all of the charges to be paid please check the Total Payment Amount () as it is the total amount you will be charged for this student. Please click the Update Cart button to continue. 4

Step 4 - You will be returned to to the Online Payment Entry screen. The Total Payment area () is updated with the amount selected in the last step. If you have any additional students to pay for please go back to Step and complete the same process with the remaining students. When you have completed that process check the Total Payment for All Students area () to see your total. At this point if you do not have any additional payment changes to make you are ready to pay via Revtrak. Make sure that Revtrak is selected as the Online Payment Vendor and click Pay With Vendor () You will be asked to confirm that you want to Submit Payment. Please click Yes () to proceed to Revtrak.

Step 5 - You will be brought to the Revtrak Online Web Store. All of the fee items for each of your students will be listed here along with their prices in a Shopping Cart (). Please review these items and when you are ready to pay select Go To Checkout () Step 6 - You will be asked to create an account with RevTrak to continue. Enter the email address you would like to have on file with RevTrak (). This email address will also receive your receipt upon completion. If you do not already have a RevTrak account click the Sign In Using Our Secure Server link (). If you are already a RevTrak customer and have a password you can enter it here.

Step 7 - Please note that RevTrak adds a % service fee to the total cost of your order to be able to cover the cost of accepting credit cards (). You will need to enter your credit card billing info () and a password () to your account. When you have entered this information click Continue (4) 4 Step 8 - Please check your Customer Info () to ensure that everything matches your billing information for your credit card. Next, fill out your Credit Card Payment Info (). You are not required to add a nickname for your card. If you would like to save this card in your RevTrak account for future use click the checkbox (). When you are ready to continue click the Continue button (4). 4

Step 7 - Please make a final check of your Customer Info () and Credit Card Payment Info (). If this information is correct click the Complete Order button to finalize your payment () At this point you have completed the Fees Payment portion of online registration. You do not need to do anything else to complete the online registration process. You will receive an email with a receipt for your payment and confirmation that all of the steps of the registration process have been completed. Your student is now ready for the beginning of school. Additional information regarding the Skyward Family Access module will be shared with parents throughout the school year and during district events such as Back To School nights and Parent/Teacher Conferences. We look forward to sharing more about the many features of Skyward Family Access. If you require any additional help with either the online registration process or the fees payment process please contact your child s school. Please note that if you are registering for the 04-05 school year we ask that you do not call until Tuesday, August 5th as all staff are assisting with Onsite Registration.
