Beverley S. Braun, Esq. HSBC Bank of USA Beverley S. Braun is Senior Legal Counsel at HSBC. She previously was a litigation partner at Jaeckle Fleischmann & Mugel, LLP, where she and concentrated her practice in business and commercial litigation. Ms. Braun received her B.A., from the State University of New York College at Geneseo, her M.S. in Chemistry from the Rochester Institute of Technology and her J.D., magna cum laude, from the State University of New York at Buffalo Law School. Ms. Braun was the recipient of the Judge Matthew J. Jasen Appellate Practice Award, the Robert J. Connelly Trial Technique Award, and the University at Buffalo Law School Faculty Award. She is admitted to practice in New York State, and before the Second Circuit Court of Appeals, U.S. District Court for the Western and Northern Districts of New York and U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of New York. She is a member of the New York State, American and Erie County Bar Associations, the WNY Chapter Women s Bar Association of the State of New York and the Order of Barristers. Ms. Braun also serves on the Board of Directors for the Aquarium of Niagara and the University at Buffalo School of Law Alumni Association. Ms. Braun serves as a Trustee for the Raichle Foundation and is also a member of the Patient and Family Advisory Council (PFAC) for the Rochester Regional Health System. Ms. Braun was selected to receive the 2014 Pro Bono Award from the United States District Court for the Western District of New York for her distinguished service to those in need of legal assistance who do not have the financial resources to secure counsel. Prior to entering the legal profession, Ms. Braun served as a Director of Six Sigma Corporate Process and Administration at Avery Dennison. She began her career at Fasson Roll North America as a Commercial Product Engineer and then Commercial Black Belt.
MARY JO S. KORONA, ESQ. FOUNDING PARTNER, LECLAIR KORONA GIORDANO COLE LLP Ms. Korona s commercial litigation practice focuses on disputes among shareholders, partners and members of corporations, partnerships and limited liability companies as they relate to buy outs, dissolutions and breaches of fiduciary duties. In addition, Ms. Korona s practice focuses on disputes involving employment matters, warranty claims and real property. Ms. Korona has successfully represented private and municipal clients in proceedings before federal and state courts, federal and state human rights agencies, mediations and arbitrations. She is on the panel of mediators selected for the mandatory mediation program sponsored by the United States District Court for the Western District of New York. Michael J. Lingle, Esq. Thomas & Solomon LLP Michael Lingle supports the firm in a broad range of employment law cases and executive compensation issues, and has served as lead attorney on several occasions. He counsels and litigates on a wide variety of employment matters, including discrimination, sexual harassment, ERISA, FMLA, FLSA and breach of contract claims. Prior to joining Thomas & Solomon LLP, Mr. Lingle was an associate in the executive compensation and employee benefits group in the New York City office of Shearman & Sterling LLP. His experience working on the corporate side, especially with contracts, proves invaluable when negotiating contracts and severance agreements for employees.
James T. Townsend, Esq. is a graduate of Trinity College and Albany Law School. He is Counsel to the Adirondack Park Agency and a member of the New York State Bar Association. Jim has been Chair of the 7th District Attorney Grievance Committee, a member of the Ethics Committee and presented at several programs for the State Bar Association and the College of Law at Syracuse.
