ASHOK MEMORIAL PUBLIC SCHOOL HOLIDAY HOMEWORK (Session 2018-19) HAPPY HOLIDAYS!! CLASS-II Summer holidays are once again here let s go and spread fun everywhere Holidays is a Welcome change for everyone, it not only provide a retreat from the daily routine but is also a great opportunity for the children to explore and

enrich their experience and knowledge, besides spending quality time with their families. Summer Vacations are from 17 th May to 1 st July 2018 School reopens on 2 nd July 2018 Dear Parents, Holidays are great time to experience new things and to grow in different directions. It is time to have fun. Time for us to catch up with all that we have been longing to do. Go for a walk with your children & enjoy the beautiful sunrise, admire the beauty of nature and hear the chirping birds. To beat the scorching heat of sun & to stay cool and fit in summers, we have few tips for your children

Holiday homework has to be done under the parental guidance. Originality of the work will be appreciated Make them Eat healthy and nutritious food, lots of salads and fruits avoid junk food i.e. Maggi, Pasta etc. Drink lots of water, fruit juice & shakes. Don t let them go out in scorching heat and play outdoors in the morning or evening. ask them to Wear loose and cotton clothes. Let them See T.V for a short while and watch informative programmes only. Make your child responsible by assigning some of the household responsibilities to him/her Share your childhood stories and family history with them. Train your child to get up early and tell him/her to wish their elders cheerfully.

Encourage your child to make the surrounding neat, clean and green. Internet safety should be the first priority of any parent or guardian when seeking protection of children online. It certainly can be a balance to juggle freedom on the internet with a safe level of online restrictions. A good rule of thumb is to not allow internet use when a child is home alone without proper supervision, even with this Search Site for Kids search engine. Place your computer in a central, open location, like the living room. So Internet use can be supervised. Look at the sites your child visits. Consider installing a children s search engine, like Yahooligans, Kiddle, Kidrex, Wacky safe etc. instead of normal GOOGLE.

If your child is searching for videos on YouTube, learn how you can activate YouTube parental controls. Do not give out personal information about yourself/your family online. This includes name, pictures, where you live or your telephone number. As parents, it is important to invest your time with them now for better future.
