A E R O AERO designed for strength As you look at the extensive span of the seven seater below, it is quite astonishing that this unit has only two legs, but two is all that is needed. The structural integrity of these benches are part of the design of the three aluminum extrusions. The webbed internal structure of each hollow extrusion produces great rigidity. Each piece interlocks to the next forming one stable unit. The Aero Bench is offered in two models all aluminum (AE-8000 Series) and upholstered insert (AE-8020 Series). All benches are pre-assembled at the factory, except for legs and end tables. Stainless steel side profiles finish the horizontal unit B E N C H at each end. A E R O environmentally friendly indoors and out The all aluminum models may be used indoors but are also very appropriate for outdoor settings on the corporate campus, as well as, open public atriums. All benches may be secured to the floor through the feet. Arms may be specified as an option. The aluminum surface has a ribbed texture that provides a non-slip surface and additional durability. A natural color anodized chemical finish is applied to harden and protect the F R O M aluminum. This finish does not rub off and is easy to clean. Aluminum is recyclable, and anodizing is an environmentally friendly process which utilizes water based chemicals. The main liquid and solid by-products are easily isolated, and either recycled into the process or used as raw materials in other processes. The legs are stainless steel with polished aluminum legs. A E R O upholstered benches for lounging or dining The second offering in the Aero Bench is an upholstered version with three upholstered inserts that cover the interior seat completely or it may be specified with center removed allowing the aluminum to be exposed. These styles enable color and texture to be added to the sleek design of the shell. The upholstered Aero Bench creates a clean lounge environment, but is a perfect selection for hospitality designs. Its natural durability, when paired with a durable textile, enables a contemporary aesthetic for restaurants, airport waiting areas, public lounges, or where ever you need clean modern seating. Optional end tables made from two aluminum extrusions are fastened to the bench by stainless steel plates. They may be specified as left or right units only on benches with backs. A E R O creating personal space Three types of arms are available wood, black polyurethane, and fully upholstered. They may be specified on the ends or at various seat partitions to create personal space in public spaces. A stainless steel rod attaches the arm to the aluminum frame. Wood arms are made of solid cherry or maple wood in standard finishes. Black polyurethane arms offer durability in high traffic areas or for outdoor use.
