Step 1 Place two enter rches (E) end to end as shown. Using two rch Plates (), place one on each side of the enter rches (E), so they are in line with the holes. Use eight Short Bolts (2), sixteen Washers (), and eight Lock Nuts () to attach the rch Plates () to the enter rches (E). E 2 8 16 E 2 8 2. Step 2 Place two Side rches (D) end to end as shown. Using two rch Plates (), place one on each side of the Side rches (D), so they are in line with the holes. In the four outer holes of the rch Plates (), use four Short Bolts (2), eight Washers (), and four Lock Nuts () to attach the rch Plates () to the Side rches (D). Step 3 Insert four Railings () into the End Post (), enter Post (B), and End Post () as shown. Be sure the Rails are oriented so they slope downwards away from the enter Post (B). The enter Post (B) should be higher than the two End Posts (). Use eight Long Screws (6) to secure the Railings () to the enter Post (B) and End Posts (). Repeat this step to make the second handrail. 6 6 6 B 6 16 Step Place one of the Side rches from Step 2 over one of the handrails from Step 3 so the holes are aligned. Be sure the Side rch is oriented so the flat ends are facing downwards. Use eight Long Bolts (1), sixteen Washers (), and eight Lock Nuts () to attach the Side rch to the handrail. Step Stand both handrails upright with both Side rches facing inward as shown. Place enter rch in the middle of the handrails. ll three pieces should be parallel and align to create a 90 degree angle at all four corners as shown. Step 6 Place three Short Boards (H) on the rches between the Posts as shown. Use five Short Screws (3) per Board to attach the Short Boards (H) to the rches. Step 7 Place Long Boards (G) across the rches as shown. Each center section will have ten Long Boards and there will be four Long Boards on each end. ut some of the corrugated cardboard packaging into twenty two 1 squares. Place them on a table and press them with your fingers or with something like a rolling pin or a mallet, compressing the squares so they are about half the thickness. Bend each square in half and place two squares as spacers between each board (see below).
